This is an utter embarrassment for Rangers. Send a guy out on loan because he is not good enough and he gets to the World Cup. Says everything we need to know about the running of the football side of the club. Shocking.

Ted's pal, how's it an embarrassment not knowing how our other players would perform, and how many limited mins Curtis would get. This shows it was exactly the correct decision to send him on loan for plenty of game to prove what he can do.

Delighted for young Findlay especially.
Don't see him as a starter myself but hopefully he gets his chance at some point. And hope too to see him regularly at Ibrox.

Don't see how it's an embarrassment. Should be heralded as an achievement from young Curtis. He wasn't going to see much game time, so has been sent out on loan, and done so well that he has had a call up. Don't see the embarrassment.

Agree with Davie here, Teds - it's actually the absolute best result we could hope for and shows the polar opposite of what you're suggesting. When you loan a young player you're looking for them to be impactful, show their worth and kick on - Curtis is the first and only in my recent memory to do this, therefore, he's been a massive success and will now become a first team player for us, hopefully.

Know you have said he's a good stats man in terms of work rate and following tactical instructions, mate, and I've taken it on board as I do with all the things u put across.
I just feel he's not a big enough attacking threat to warrant a place in the 11, thus meaning next summer he'll be worth less than now.

It's a shame for Barron though, he was in great form before his injury and he is trying to get a place in the strongest area of the team. Hard to believe though that Clarke has taken Ralston, Celtic's third choice right back, to be Scotland's third choice right back rather than strengthen other areas. Lennon Miller has even been dropped from the squad, unbelievable.

I am proud of every Rangers player and agree that Curtis making it actually shows the development plan worked. Would he have made it getting 15-20 minutes for us, or even getting full games in the environment we create when the team was losing after the split. Also pleased for Ralston as he filled the gap when the first choice RBs were out.
So Clark sticking with him and showing faith in that continuity. He may not be the most skilful, but he gives everything for the jersey when he is on the pitch for both club and country. Is that not what fans want from our players? As a former limited RB who also gave my all, I am particularly pleased for him to make it. I could but just dream of that.

So happy for Curtis. Barron and Miller may be unlucky, wsl, but it's the strongest part of the team. No way they get in that midfield just now. Ralston probably in because our other full backs are injury risks.

Barron was never making squad, not even on standby list, he's behind Miller and Irvine.
