Curtis got 2 goals today and man of the match according to my app.

I actually watched the game live, bud, and as slightly biased Rangers man, even the Killie commentator guys expressed their opinion that it was a great game for any neutral person to watch.

Well done to the lad, glad to see Killie looking safe. Have a lot of Killie supporting pals.
Hopefully young Curtis comes back into the fold next season with that experience under his belt.

Could he play as a striker? I don't think he has what it takes as a winger to reach the top European level, but he definitely has an eye for goal. Is this a possibility, Q for EHL or anyone who keeps an eye on him.

What do we think in general, could he be a winger for Rangers? What other option would there be for him?

Happy for him. He honestly must look at that Rangers squad right now and wonder if he'll ever get in. From what I've seen from Curtis, what I've seen from the rest of our wide players, with the exception of Mikey, I'd have Curtis before any of them tbh.

He's direct, can beat a man, good end product, first thought is to get a shot away, everything the rest aren't.

What I like about him, Boy blue, always looking to go forward, personally think it's a wise move loaning him out, he'll get far more game time next season mate.
Curtis goes both ways, TJBB, doing alright wide now, number ten or maybe even deeper cm.

Don't see him playing cf. Could be wrong, not seen a great deal of him either, definitely knows where the goal is.

Made a mistake not keeping him though he has had great game time for Killie and it's only helping the kid.

09 May 2026 19:04:14
He's definitely in the right team atm, getting key development games under his belt. All about game time at his age, another year on loan and see what he becomes.

Neil McCann has played Finlay Curtis as a wing back a few games, maybe he can be tried at full back. Personally, think he'd be better as a 10. ?????

Curtis has more end product than Mikey Moore. We should have played Curtis all season long. Instead, we are in a situation whereby we are developing a player for Spurs, and Kilmarnock are developing a player for us. We should be developing our own player.

Whenever we sign a player from another SPFL club, people say 'the weight of the jersey is too much sometimes'.

Or, 'it's one thing doing it for a Kilmarnock, another doing it for Rangers', etc. The best place for Curtis to develop is right here at Rangers, and he has the ability to be a regular starter for us.

I also think it sends out all the wrong messages to loan out our top youth prospect because we have more faith in a youth prospect from the EPL.

It's been a great loan for him and his development, playing every week, and getting goals will give him confidence, I just hope Rangers give him a proper chance next season.

Curtis is probably the most natural finisher we have at the club. Boy should be in our first team next season.

Curtis also gives the ball away lots, and makes wrong decisions a plenty. He's in the right place to develop. He wouldn't be given the same breathing space with an Ibrox crowd.
