Not a Rangers question.
Edd's have Chelsea sacked Liam Rosenior?
{Ed001's Note - I don't know sorry, but I would be surprised if he is in charge of another game.}
22 Apr 2026 14:19:03
Thank you for your reply. It was something spoken about at the office.
He really has been a huge mistake.
Nagelsman after World Cup perhaps.
{Ed001's Note - he would be another mistake imo.}
22 Apr 2026 14:20:34
That seems to be sticking with him for now. Is he some sort of combination between Martin and Nancy listening to him?
22 Apr 2026 14:37:33
Oliver Glasner would be a great appointment for Chelsea.
22 Apr 2026 15:22:26
Chelsea just pretend to be a big club, absolute dug meat before Abramovich laundered money through them and they are now back to where they were before.
22 Apr 2026 15:22:43
To sack him now would cost £24m.
Generational wealth secured hahaha.
22 Apr 2026 15:42:33
Takes a fair bit of effort to spend that much money and be so shockingly bad.
22 Apr 2026 17:01:44
I had no idea where Chelsea sat in the table, but upon checking it, then it does not look good when your games played on the table look like this ❌❌❌❌❌❌.
It must be in the hundreds of millions that the new owners have wasted on managerial appointments.
22 Apr 2026 17:16:28
Someone said they'd been outrun in every game this season. Manager has been poor, but players need to take a serious look at themselves.
22 Apr 2026 17:23:25
Sacked on Sky News.
22 Apr 2026 17:32:29
Thanks Fork,.
22 Apr 2026 17:45:57
Kasier, they have been outrun in 34 games in EPL this season.

One of the favourites for the Chelsea job is their former midfielder and current Como manager/head coach Cesc Fabregas ? He's done a superb job at Como but with the way Chelsea hire and fire managers willy nilly, if I was him it think long and hard before taking that job. ?
22 Apr 2026 18:58:05
Rosenior leaves 4 months into a 5 and a half year contract. Nice payoff, I would assume.
Don't think the manager is the only problem with the club at the moment.
Glasner would be a great shout, but would he touch it? Maybe Andoni Iraola or Marco Silva. Time will tell.
22 Apr 2026 19:20:51
Sws unless you're just wanting a huge pay day after few months, any up and coming manager like Fabregas would be bonkers to go near that job.
22 Apr 2026 20:04:11
Chelsea job is a poisoned chalice, would be a hard gig to turn down for any manager, but unfortunately the club is run by the muppet show and whoever it is would be on a hiding to nothing. Club are on the slippery slope and just about every player is on a 30 year contract.
Good luck to whoever it is trying to trim down a squad of about 40 players on the contracts they dish out.
Sws Fabregas is doing a fantastic job. He would be crazy to go there, but would understand the appeal.
Think it will be Barca or Arsenal for him when the time is right.
22 Apr 2026 20:12:11
@Stevie, he is sacked, but clause in contract making sure Chelsea don't give him millions pay off. They've learnt that lesson.
23 Apr 2026 00:42:49
I thought if he's sacked this season, or within a year, he gets full contract paid.
{Ed001's Note - no, he had break clauses, the run of defeats they are on was enough to invoke one.}
23 Apr 2026 06:57:51
I am loving it as I have never liked Chelsea, good enough for them and their fans.
23 Apr 2026 07:51:00
Just as bent as Man City.
