As people in the know on here will be aware, information concerning the team is very hard to come by or can be cryptic or even untrue at the club now.
Some of us will have people we trust with info, but is the info they receive to be trusted!
I gave up a few years ago about letting the cat out the bag and am sure John, Asa, CF5 and a few others took the same route.
The golden nugget for info in my opinion was CF5.
Troops going out of the way to share info which made them more than happy and wanting to brighten up others day. Only to be, not even interrogated but down trodden on.
A lot of new posters may not be aware of this, but the older ones will.

It's a shame White Horse. Always enjoy a good rumour regardless of the strength or accuracy. And should be remembered that so many moving parts that there could be interest at one point, then things change or falls through. All info is much appreciated.

As I have learned through the years, White Horse, info people get could possibly be correct and could possibly not. It also could be correct, and something changes at the last minute. I can only assume the latter is what happened with CF5's Gerrard info. He was certain that was going to happen and then it didn't. Just shows you.

Orange T, CF5 and info were absolutely spot on.
Gerrard was happening, his back room team were Steve Holland, Steve Davis and Jermaine Defoe.
Gerrard decided at the very last minute it wasn't for him.
The commonly accepted belief is that he didn't like Thelwell and the wee baldy guy and maybe seen a disaster ahead.
I don't blame Stevie for this and hope one day he can come back again.

Stevie, it was said at the time Holland was in a job and he couldn't come, I'm sure that's what was said at the time.

CF5 was a great poster and genuinely knowledgeable.
We had conflicting information at the time.
He has the information regarding Gerrard.
I had information that Andrew Cavanagh's prime target was Danny Rohl.
That information was consistent with the information in the summer, but Rohl was deemed too expensive a contract to buy out at the time.
I felt CF5 was given a needlessly hard time when Gerrard was not appointed.
His information was correct and consistent in the sense that Gerrard had and still has admirers within the boardroom.

I like all rumours, but relise some may not happen, but still good to hear off players were possibly interested in. I get why people don't want say much now, as they get shot down, which is a shame as were all Rangers fans.

CoplandFront5 not only posts on here. He's been posting on Rangers forums for years. He knows what he is talking about.
If he posts a rumour and the information is accurate, it doesn't seem to matter. If people don't like the information being shared, they get angry and the attacks begin.
So why bother?
Gerrard might have been Rangers' pick, meeting arranged. It looks like he's coming. He decides after the meeting, it's not for him. So the reaction is to attack the person who said Gerrard would be signing. Nobody on here knows what is going to happen for certain.

As of the time, CF5 was bang on about the info he had. Rangers wanted Stevie G and Stevie wanted Rangers. I do not know why it didn't happen. But it is a perfect example of how good info can go so wrong.
