Rangers had a bounce game yesterday (Dont know who against (any timmies tunned in - it was against the Brazilian national team) )
They won 10-0.
Chermiti x2 Milovski x2 Aasgaard x2 Gassa, Barjami, Olsen and an og.

10-0 against any professional opposition would be a good achievement.
Hopefully the time away allows for players to build confidence and hit even better form for the final push.

Would love nothing better than Olsen to ram our words right down our throats in last 5 games, myself included. C'mon, son, you've got it in you.

Boy Blue, spoke to a few of the coaches about Olsen and they said they've never worked with a player lower in confidence and that he's really isolating himself from the squad.
It was pretty sad to hear and it doesn't sound like there's an easy fix. Hopefully he can work through whatever he's dealing with and come out the other side stronger.

Yes, EHL, it is a serious confidence issue, but one I do believe can be rectified.
Danny Rohl seems to understand him and is offering that arm around the shoulder.
I do still believe he can be a very good player for Rangers.
He is a wonderful lad, and with the correct support mechanism, we can have an exceptional player at our club.
17 Apr 2026 20:00:25
What is causing him to be this way?
It's clearly a form of depression and one that we really need to watch and look after while he's here.

Stevie, it's a symptom of being injured and having a shocking lack of support.
The atmosphere around Wolfsburg is not a conducive form recovery environment.
Like Cerny, he was deemed surplus after an injury and put on the proverbial scrapheap.
Danny Rohl man management style is one o feel will begin to transform Andreas fortunes, and hopefully this time away will benefit him.

Personally I think he needs to maybe go home and reset. If he is depressed or up against it, maybe a team in his homeland can reinvigorate him. The Old Firm goldfish bowl is the worst place for a man in his position; it has broken many a good player.

Aphe, we both know the lad is capable of some wonderful stuff, but with EHL saying he is isolating himself from the squad, I'm afraid that after he confessed football is just a job to him and he doesn't love football anymore, then the Wolfsburg treatment.
This, for me, no matter which way you cut it, is someone we can't and won't be taking a huge risk on, as we are talking a significant outlay on hoping that he gets the love for the game back.
Hearing a player isolating from the rest of the squad is really sad, and I hope, wherever he ends up, he can find whatever he is missing.
17 Apr 2026 21:05:58
That's actually quite sad to hear, EHL. I do hope he gets the help he needs. Mcmillist makes a good point that maybe the goldfish bowl of the Old Firm isn't where he should be right now. Would love nothing more than to see him get through this and become a legend for us, having dealt with depression my full adult life.
It won't be as easy as that. I honestly think the boy needs to go back to his family and get his head straight. Health is your wealth.

BBJ, I will not continue to go over old discussions. You have your opinion which is entirely valid, I have my own position on the matter.
We will never agree, and, no matter what way you cut it, I will not change my way of thinking.
You use a misquote from an interview all the time.
The same misquote that caused an argument between me and my star.
He never once said football is just a job to him.
He confessed to being a "loner". Football is his job, but that doesn't change his personality.
17 Apr 2026 22:02:33
Aphe, I'm afraid it's a team game and you need to trust and get on with your team mates to be able to fully integrate. So I'm with BB4 in thinking that the goldfish bowl of Glasgow might not be the best place for him.
Ehl, do you think the board take the risk that he can come through the other side?
I really hope he can, as when he is the Brugge Olsen, we would have an outstanding player on our hands.
17 Apr 2026 22:36:00
Very sad if true. Personally I'd like another 6 month loan, but hopefully wherever Olsen goes to, he can fall in love again with the game and a place to call home. If indeed he is isolating himself from the squad, I hope Rangers see this and offer help.
Regardless of loan or permanent, he's currently our player and should be supporting him in every way possible.
17 Apr 2026 22:53:30
Why 6 months, Davie? Doesn't happen a lot either, that the 6 months loan deals are at start of season to winter.
17 Apr 2026 23:14:44
Hopefully the passion of the fans in this run in can lift him a bit and he can start to enjoy the game again.
17 Apr 2026 23:40:41
Would imagine a sport psychologist would be involved. ??
17 Apr 2026 23:53:26
OrangeT, full pre season under his belt and settled, hopefully at new club he comes good is why I said 6 months. Does take time for players to settle, as we know.
18 Apr 2026 07:53:08
Hate to agree but here probably isn't the right place for him. From a personal point of view, I hope he can get through things and regain his joy and form. From a purely football point, it's not worth the gamble hoping he can get through his personal issues.
Far too many good players in their early 20s lose it and never get it back for whatever reason, and we simply can't afford that big a gamble. He'd become one of our most expensive players and be constantly under the microscope.
18 Apr 2026 11:44:28
I actually agree that he'd be best served in his own interests to return home for a full season and agreed that even if injured he remains at home.
Sounds like he needs his family around him.
