With a win gains you 2 co efficiant points. As it currently sits Rangers are on 59.25 co effician points and shattered donesk are on 54.75.
They play the winners of Crystal Palace or sampdoria should they go through which looking likely and I know before a few say it we just need to take care of ourself and win the league but that's currently where we are regarding champions league.

I read if we win the league and Olympiacos don't and also As long as the winners of the champ league are also title winners, then we get automatic group qualification.

Davie, I told you the other day about Shakhtar, said another couple of rounds that us, hopefully they go out in the semi, mate, they reach the final they'll have more coefficient.

Stevie, but Shakhtar was still picking up points and the majority just forgot all about them, mate. They could get more coefficient points than us this season, they do, we need to qualify for the Champions League, but that's not guaranteed they will, hopefully out after the semi, or you never know they could still go out after the second leg of this tie.

My star, agreed. I think my reply was possibly, does that not come into effect until next season? Dumb moment, as it would be next season. I'm presuming they pick up another 2 points on the return leg, hard games in the semi final, and we complete our own business.
I will be truly gutted if the opportunity does come for Champions League but we fail to win the league.

Stevie, I was also the same, but as My star said, Shakhtar weren't thought of a threat at that point, but have been picking up points by doing well and now a threat.

Shaktar currently sit second with a game in hand, but if they don't win their league they won't be in our path anyway. We would be champions path and they would be in the other path as far as I can make out.
