Read a report from England this morning stating Liverpool have joined the many interested clubs in Rangers centre half manny Fernandez ?I wonder if they see Fernandez as the long term replacement for virgil van dijk ?

Would love to keep him for another season beside Djiga at this moment in time. Add a right back who is not injured and similar to a Rommens on the left (good pre season needed), and we will hot fav for league and hopefully a good season in Europe.

I agree, Coopersdad. ? Keeping the continuity and the now blossoming centre half pairing of Fernandez and Djiga would be superb for us going forward into next season. ? But I suppose it will come down to the value for money if we're choosing between Djiga or Doehki to partner Big Manny next season.
? Djiga is going to cost us more than Doekhi will, although he's about 3 years or so younger than Doehki. ? Will be very happy with either TBH. ? ??

Not comparing the 2, but Manny's style is like Virgil, never looks flustered. The big man has a bit of everything, solid defensively, can spray the long pass, brilliant in the air in both boxes, brilliant turn of pace, good at carrying it out from the back, very composed. Boy will be a player if he keeps progressing.

I have a sneaky suspicion he'll end up at the blue half of Liverpool.
Everton's scouting team have been very present at both Ibrox and the Training Centre.
Seems to be interest in Fernandez and Diomande.

If Manny is to leave, let's say north of 25 mill plus add ons, are Peterborough not in for a cut?
Also, Dio, surely we be looking at 15 plus.
Also Raskin, again we should be looking at 15 plus.
My point, these are players we should already be looking at replacing, not waiting until sold then wondering who do we replace with and still hoping to win league, so add Champions League money into equation.

Teddy, we use a tool called TransferLab as part of the recruitment process.
Every player in the squad has a range of replacements that have been identified and are being monitored.
Our trouble doesn't appear to be in identifying the players, it's in convincing players to join.

Don't think we'll get close to 15m for Diomande, Teddy, I really like him, mate, said a while ago now he'll have a better career than Raskin, Diomande should have got out last summer, sometimes he doesn't show up in our league, but a good few classy performances in Europe, does normally turn up for Celtic though.

All about opinions, My star, and as you know, mate, I respect your opinion and everyone's on here, but imo Nico Raskin will go on to have a better career than Mo Diomande, imo, mate. ? That's not to say I don't rate Dio, because I do, and rate Raskin of course. ? ??

I know that, sws, just believe Diomande will have a better one, mate, won't be much in it, but imo opinion Raskin better get it out of his head he's a number six, because he'll never control a game from that position, and he's also not got a good enough pass range either, he's better further forward, hopefully that number six I'm talking about arrives in the summer.
