On Thursday, Rangers said they agreed that a full independent review into the events surrounding the match should be conducted.
The Ibrox side warned of sanctions, potential withdrawal of ticketing privileges and stadium bans should individuals be identified and convicted of offences connected to the match.

Totally agree with club, anyone charged should be banned. As for the independent review, it will show up Police Scotland as failing to do their job correctly, from hours before match to after it.

Statement was a good start. Hopefully action follows through.

Coopers, I put a leaflet about what Police Scotland are there for at football matches on a thread earlier. I am interested, following that, what you think they didn't do that was their job. I was surprised by what they were at football games for, as I thought it would be much more as well, but it isn't. Eye-opening, at least to me.

It was a good start, but we need action, which will hopefully come next. Me, personally, would ban every UB.

I'm with Storm, there is a reason they all were wearing black, so they couldn't be identified as easily when causing trouble, plenty of people waiting to take their place.
But, to be fair, I don't think it's right to put it all on UB this time. Some of them obviously, but there were some other fans from other areas of the stadium who invaded the pitch also.

Angus,
What are the police there for? Other than collecting double time?

The problem is, once one does it, other morons follow suit, the same with signing sectarian songs. Cut it off at source, and from what I seen, from a Rangers perspective, it was UB that were first on the pitch.
Doesn't make it right, and they should all be punished if identified.

LaCala, that is exactly why I went looking, as I thought, like most I suspect, that they were there to be in complete control of the whole match. It seems that isn't the case, and they are there to support, and only to get fully involved if things get out of hand.
Otherwise, the home club are responsible. Don't say I agree 100% with that, but it seems to be the case.
