Are we in a better place being the hunter in the run in instead of the hunted? Is our squad in a better place compared to Hearts n Celtic? Will Motherwell have a say and catch either one of us as they chase Europe, side note watched Falkirk last night, could be the spanner in the works?

Fork, I think we are in a better place in terms of being the hunter, although, to use a hunting analogy, it appears we get last-minute nerves as a pack when we have the chance to make the kill.

I don't think this squad has the mental resilience to be where Hearts have been over the last few months. I've no doubt they would have collapsed under the pressure.
At this point in time, we're better being the hunter. Even then, you've seen 4 draws in the last 6 league games. We need a few strong personalities in over the summer.

It's a mental thing with our players, Fork. I don't think it matters if we're the hunter or being hunted; they bottle it in every position when the going gets tough. It's been like that since 55. We had no pressure during 55.
I really hope they are up for the fight tomorrow, as they owe it to the fans.

We were 2nd, so hunted by Celtic and Motherwell at one point. Stop being deliberately pedantic; it was a question for discussion. And now we're hunting Celtic n Hearts. It's not that hard to work out.

Absolutely, Mph and Storm, I'd be gobsmacked if any of our supporters wouldn't prefer to be in Hearts' current position in the league. ? ??

Unfortunately, we have a few players who need to be offloaded, which won't be easy unless we are willing to accept lesser offers.
I also hope we are inundated with offers for our valuable players. Losing one or two, for decent market value, is beneficial if it allows us to add to the squad (players Dr sees as suited to his playing style).
I'm still confident this season, but I believe next season will be much more enjoyable and successful.
Let's see the other mob off tomorrow, and get some momentum for the title run in.

Getting a couple in front and trying to protect the zero is a very European coach thing. Gio did it, PC tried it. Just needs a bit stronger defensive midfield and CBs.
