Correct, Tommy. Same with Dessers before him as well. He scored goals, but not winning goals or goals in the big games. I wonder what would have happened if we had kept them, as their goals would have linked well across all teams.

I know it looks like I am directing that point at you, Fork, Storm. My intention was more a broader comment about the criticism he has received. Maybe a poor choice of words on my part.
He is a 21-year-old playing his first season in the game. He is absolutely stepping up to be counted and has just scored 2 worldies in an OF game.
He has 9 goals in 12 league starts, and, like I mentioned, has one of the best goals per 90 in the league.
I just think it's time to praise the lad and drop the negativity around him, because if all the above is not good enough, nothing will ever be good enough.

The Portugal manager has confirmed he is being monitored. I believe he is also well regarded in their U21 squad. He does have a chance, and if he keeps scoring goals like Sunday, it will be hard to keep him out of the squad.

Sorry, Tommy, where did I mention Chermiti? I didn't, bud; I just said "we need to be scoring against them all" meaning the team, and I actually like Chermiti and praised him as he has improved, but like us all, I want more.
I don't think I've actually criticised him tbh; may have said about a miss or something, but I know it's a broader comment you're alluding to. Like us all, I would like him to step up more.

I did acknowledge that already, Fork. I am not looking to be confrontational with anyone at the moment as it's not why I started posting on the site. At times, it's been difficult over the years on here, especially with such a lean period for the club.
But I am trying to get back to my original intention, and my post was not that. We are all good from my side, buddy, hope you don't hold it against me, lol.
