To be fair, somebody shot this story down by saying that it was well known that Rommens had arrived with a bruised ankle, and that's why he was out. Can't be that well known if Rommens himself didn't know about it.

A little something in his back isn't a stress fracture, though. That is fairly serious if not treated properly. 3 weeks out to manage an injury where the minimum is 6-8 weeks. That was the argument. Oh, that and you breaking the confidence of a player. ?
