Chermiti shows some brilliant touches and he does put in a shift but lacking goals but also lacking crosses in to the box. Moore to me is decent at times and nothing more I appreciate that he us young but a don't think he is good enough for this title run.

Also with gasman he's just ball greedy and complicates things for himself and the team. I definitely think we need to see a LW and a forward in big team. Because at the moment the front 3 is not cutting it.

23 Jan 2026 09:47:12
I know Moore is young and a good player with potential, but do we think he will ever be a regular in the biggest League in the world? I hope so, but do have my doubts ✌️✌️.

23 Jan 2026 09:58:20
Yately, yes.

23 Jan 2026 10:05:33
Not for spurs imo yately but can.

23 Jan 2026 10:05:58
Not for spurs, but can see him at a Fulham or Bournemouth when he's a bit older. *.

23 Jan 2026 10:11:55
Gassama is a myth for me, I remember how much he was talked up pre-joining but he's absolutely flattered to deceive, has certain "moments" but is mostly sloppy and largely unreliable. Don't see him turning a corner and becoming the type of winger we need, wouldn't be surprised to see him move on in the summer.

23 Jan 2026 10:12:32
moore only turned 18 in august, I think for his age to be a regular starter at Rangers is something that doesn't happen very often.

If he was our own player from the academy, I think everyone would be delighted with the player we've got. Look at the plaudits Curtis is getting last night for cutting in, having a shot and winning a free kick.

I like Curtis but imo he's not as good, at this moment in time, than either Gassama or Moore on the left or right wings.

23 Jan 2026 10:32:38
Looking at the stats. since Rohl arrived we have scored 26 goals and between them our 3 strikers have scored 9 of those with Chermiti on 4. In the same time Hearts who fans think have a great forward have scored just 20 with their 3 forwards scoring the same 9 goals between them. so not a huge difference other than 7 of those goals have been scored by Shankland
however he is now injured so who is going to score those 7 goals whilst he is out.

that is the problem with relying on 1 goalscorer.
ae our forwards individually prolific then no but across the 3 they provide similar goal returns to Hearts.

23 Jan 2026 10:45:09
Yately, I think he has shown a lot more in his time at Rangers than Amad Diallo ever did and look at him now!

Fans and the press are too quick to hype these young players up and just as quick to knock them down after one bad game instead of just leaving them to develop. Harder for them playing for a team like Rangers where the spotlight is well and truly on you from day one.

23 Jan 2026 10:59:30
Moore only turned 18 year old.

23 Jan 2026 10:59:57
He's 18 and played for spurs first team and getting regular games before Some decent players! Much better when he's afforded space to work in and most teams we play in Scotland sit in! His work ethic is brilliant he'll make it imo.

23 Jan 2026 11:09:11
Forza you don't think a 22 year old can improve?

23 Jan 2026 11:14:56
Dada he definitely has showed more than Diallo did at Rangers mate, but a season later Diallo was outstanding for Sunderland.
Moore will have a top career barring injuries.

23 Jan 2026 11:20:55
Ryan came on to say something similar in regards to Moore. I see people raving about him constantly on here and every time I watch him I look for the reasons why, tbh never see it, there's little flashes here and there, but he goes missing for huge spells in games, has a decent game every 4 or 5 games.

23 Jan 2026 11:32:59
Tav, of course he can improve but can he learn at 22 to be more physical, improve his decision making, hold a ball up, pass the ball, dribble more effectively and stop throwing himself to the ground?

A lot to work on for me before he's a Rangers standard winger, Championship jobber post-Rangers I fear.

Of course, I could be wrong - just a daft guy on the internet.

23 Jan 2026 11:37:17
Gassama has all the skill and ability but his decision making needs to improve dramatically if he wants to take the next step up. How long he gets will be up to our current manager who is trust 100% in to make good decisions for the club. Aasgaard is in the same category.

There will be plenty of competition over the next 12-18 months. They need to watch over their shoulders. Despite what Asa says, I struggle more with Antman tbh. I know his chances are limited but I think the boy's ability is limited as well.

23 Jan 2026 11:41:39
I honestly could not care less if MM makes it in his career because it's not going to be with us.

He has been a poor signing imo, with him and with Meghoma we are likely seeing the worst of them because they are wee boys. We should not be loaning other clubs prospects to develop them whilst paying serious fees.

Curtis may not have the same ceiling as MM but if he had played his minutes this season we would have had more from him on the park and a better Rangers player as a result.

I really hope these 2 are the last prospects we loan to develop for other clubs.

23 Jan 2026 11:42:48
Chermiti is a good number 9 for me if you have composed creators and finishers either side to feed off him…right now we have none…. hopefully Skov Olsen makes us have one…. need one more.

23 Jan 2026 11:55:09
Angus that's since Rohl arrived, but Hearts forward line have 27 goals between 3 of them mate.

23 Jan 2026 11:56:40
Think this is the problem with championship players if they were really any good prem or higher end championship would snap them up before us.

23 Jan 2026 12:11:42
Tommy I completely disagree, think calling Moore and Meghoma wee boys is slightly patronising and both have come out pretty positively from the hostile environment at the start of the season.

Meghoma as a 19 year old has shown to me at least to be pretty competent in his position and has had to deal with playing essentially every game under the lows and pressure of russel martin and been and been a mainstay in the turnaround under Danny Rohl. There hasn't been another natural left back until the Rommens signing and I don't think Meghoma has done himself or the team a disservice playing in that position.

23 Jan 2026 12:31:46
Bb4 correct too many Rangers fans think the league started when DR came and forget about the rest of the games before him ?‍♂️.

23 Jan 2026 12:32:52
Both Gassama and Moore are young and a bit inexperienced at this level they both are just missing the decision making for the final ball. Gassama tends to over play and not get his cross in early ( something we were warned about by Sheff Wed fans to be fair) and Moore just lacks a bit of composure. They both have lots of natural ability so its now about coaching this final element of their game.

If Spurs don't want to keep Moore I would sign him in a minute, he will become a terrific player and would make us a fortune in the future.
Chermiti is another who is showing now his talents but he needs to sharpen up in the box, could a striker coach help him with his runs and positioning?

23 Jan 2026 12:33:03
I'd take Meghoma back on a permanent if we can work the figures out, he's been flung right into the deep end and been ever present, hasn't really put a foot wrong. Best ability is availability and all that.

23 Jan 2026 12:41:35
Your right in that he was put in a position he should have be nowhere near Tav. He was clearly not a Rangers starting LB never mind our only left back so I have tried not to criticise him.

I am calling them we boys, not to be condescending but because it's true. They are literally 2 wee boys. I am not criticising them BTW, it's more a criticism of KT, it's not they're fault they have been given a platform at Rangers, my argument is that neither deserved that platform and in MM case Curtis would be a better short and long term option.

In Meghomas case he has been barely competent, weak in one on ones, awful defending back post and does not offer much going forward. His last few games have been his best but they have been the actual competent performances.

I just don't see the benefit to Rangers in all the rubbish performances from both when they leave in a few months. Oh and the millions of pounds spent on them don't help.

23 Jan 2026 12:42:35
I'm puzzled by some of the comments on here about Moore and Gassama. Each to their own but what I see is two players that impact games. Moores pace going forward and also tracking back is excellent. Gassama needs to stop diving so much and improve his team play.

If they were the finished article they wouldn't be at Rangers. Wonder how many were slating Moore when he scored at the piggery and dived into the crowd? 18 years old and very talented imo.

23 Jan 2026 12:57:44
No I don't think the league started when he came in but unfair to judge a player on what was happening under Martin. so as a team for the whole period we have scored 8 less than a Hearts team who people are (rightfully? ) raving about.

BB4 I am talking about number 9s so didn't include Brava. so for the season Shankland has 11 Kabunga has none and I counted Kabore who has 2 but he is listed as a LW. they have had Shankland as their starting 9 with others as subs. We rotate our starters but for season our 3 number 9s have scored 9 between them so 4 less goals from an area people don't like.
so as I say our issue could be goals from other areas; we need a Braga number of goals from elsewhere.

I agree with Tommy that we shouldn't be taking players to develop for other teams. if we are short in an area we need to bring in the quality of player we can't afford. I like Moore but would rather an experienced player in there or one of our own who will make us money.

23 Jan 2026 13:26:03
he isn't diving. he puts his body between player and ball, feels it and then goes to ground. it happens all the time and players regularly get a foul for it. referee just obviously thinks the contact isn't enough. if it was diving he would be booked.

23 Jan 2026 13:39:21
Wow tommygun I know its all about opinions but Meghoma is part of a defence that along with Hearts and Motherwell have the best defensive record in the league. To say he has been barely competent is way ott imo. At 19 years old he has had to play far too many minutes due to our club selling two lb 3 if you want to throw in Fraser and only leaving one recognised lb at the club.

When we win the league I will say a huge thank you to these young pkayers for their contribution instead of tearing them apart.

23 Jan 2026 13:46:49
My problem with MM is simple, numbers, he is a 1 in 10 player when that needs to be one in 3 or one in 4 to be a good Rangers player.

It's not his fault as it's the stage of his career he is in. These numbers were predictable and while I still hope he can have a better second half of the season it's not the standard needed.

Less critical of Gassama personally because he is a Rangers player, but I can understand the same argument with him.

23 Jan 2026 13:46:51
hmmm again i disagree he's second top for assists in our team behind Raskin so obviously does offer going forward, think defending one on one he's actually quite good.

I would say his weakest point was his positioning but that seems to have gotten better since Rohl came in, he can't be that incompetent as he's part of a back 4 that isn't conceding too many goals these days and has played the full 90 minutes in 6 of our 7 win streak. Like forza says was thrown right into the deep end and hasn't really looked out of place. Think both the wee boys have handled themselves well in what was a tough time at Rangers and i'm personally glad both are here at the moment.

23 Jan 2026 14:46:38
i see is linked with the right back and we definitely will need 1 arrons will be away and imo tav should go too so does anyone think boy at Falkirk worth a punt always impressed me when seen him.

23 Jan 2026 16:10:21
Our defensive improvements have clearly came from DR getting us to defend as a team. It's not about individual performances at all for us right now imo. That's why I am not giving Meghoma too much credit, I am not trying to rip the boy apart though.

Just don't see the benefit for Rangers in his or MM signings. See the benefit for Spurs and Brentford but the cost benefit for us isn't there

I agree over the last few games JM has improved, he is currently on his best run of form for us.

But you need to remember in any ordinary season the league would have been long gone on our form for the first half of the season. Celtic being a basket case is only reason we are still in it, otherwise we would be 15 points adrift.

23 Jan 2026 16:12:20
Hope everyone is sharpening their knives for our new singings won't be long until they're being hung drawn and quartered.

23 Jan 2026 16:23:00
Angus for a combined outlay of roughly 16 million quid I'd be hoping our front 3 could get more goals than a front 3 who cost Hearts pennies, if our front 3 were celtic's front 3 we would be on here laughing at them and slaughtering them for their lack of goals yet some are trying to make a case that they're good enough for us? mind-boggling.

23 Jan 2026 16:55:48
Jackboy see if you see nothing in Chermiti fair enough man.

23 Jan 2026 16:59:36
aye tommy but you still need players on the park to carry it out mate ?.

23 Jan 2026 17:19:40
Part of the process though isn't it EHL

Supposed Rangers fans slagging off their own within minutes of game time.

23 Jan 2026 17:46:27
People are allowed different opinions.

23 Jan 2026 18:41:52
You don't see the benefit to Rangers, Tommy for Moore and Meghoma? Are you serious for a start who plays left back in all those games if we didn't have them? It's your opinion and you are entitled to it. You are only saying that because they are loans which is wrong.

23 Jan 2026 18:53:23
I'm not sure how you're not trying to tear him apart, you said he was barely competent.

23 Jan 2026 20:42:48
I don't want to keep going on about the lads as they are young and learning the game. If they were Rangers players I would have been fine with their ups and downs. But they are not, which is my problem.

Your basically saying a player has been a good signing because he is all we have. C'mon, I don't blame the player but going into the season with 19 yo with no senior games under his belt was a joke and must have been a major factor in KT getting punted a couple of months into his Rangers tenure.

Money spent on those 2 could have bought us a better LB than Meghoma. Pretty sure it's the similar to what we have just paid for Rommens. Not saying he will be good, I think he will be very goog tbh, but he is a talented young player with a good level of experience. He will have his ups and downs as well but the downs will be worth it if he develops into a good player for us.

My argument isn't against the boys as individuals but if we had signed Rommens in the summer and not bothered with these 2 players our season would definitely not be worse and we would have 2 of our own players who had gained that valuable experience.

I like the 2 lads, think Meghoma should be proud of himself because he has had stand up and be counted with no choice but to do that. MM is clearly a talent who could go a long way in the game. They were just never good fits for us and not exactly cheap.
