Brilliant second half today and thrilled with the result.
Big game coming on Tuesday and as we know, Aberdeen only play 4 games a season. The response to that is going to be huge. If we get a result on Tuesday I think Danny Rohl is the right man-manager to channel a mentality that has been missing for a while.

1st half we were very open. But think a lot of that was down to how poor Raskin and Aasgaard especially were. Serious lack of effort. Well picked up and tweaked by the gaffer for the 2nd half.

I think Aasgaard's lesson needs to be that to be effective in these big games he can't afford the indiscipline of an early booking. His relative success in his previous OF outing helped negate McGregor but 7min yellows takes away any possible combative side and therefore his lack of aggression (as it is) rendered him fairly useless to the team.
Dip was a no brainer. Raskin as bad as he was 1st half he redeemed in the 2nd.

Top Geezer, the Celtic player danced past Aasgaard and Raskin before hitting screamer.
Not Butlands biggest fan, but he would have done well to stop that.

Top Geezer, Butland could have possibly done better with their goal, but it's the midfielders and defenders that let Yang saunter past them with very little effort to stop him and let him blast it from inside the box that need to take the blame.
Butland came up with several saves throughout the game. For me, Butland's main issue is his distribution which is really poor and invites pressure on us.

Der Hammer- totally agree about Butlands distribution under pressure. Fernandez is also guilty of a slack pass under pressure. It's an issue that has blighted us for a while, a real lack of composure around the team at vital moments. That said, look at the recent change in Chermiti- better hold up play, better positioning and composure on goal.
Danny Rohl is very much a modern head coach in so far as he is showing that he can develop players and adapt in- match situations. I think that is possibly the most satisfying part of today; they are like (with noncy) what we were like with Martin. Really enjoying this uptick in overall performance though some of our defending is still hands over the eyes stuff.

I agree lads there was 3 or 4 players that could have stopped him but Butland should have stopped that.

Not blaming Butland for that - swerved and hit with power - hard to stop - thought he was outstanding today.

The first half showed that we are short in areas, yes we were very poor but it confirms that we need some better quality in areas and some experience.
You build on these results and to have a chance of winning this title we will require two of three good additions to the squad.
If we can beat Aberdeen in the next two games with additions to come then then that should put pressure on Hearts and them to keep on winning and give the players confidence going into the rest of the season.

The first error for their goal was Moore.
After that it's Thelo, then Fernandez and then Butland.
Usually they say two mistakes lead to a goal - guess we were just making sure.
