Aasgaard did a decent job of nullifying him at the game at Ibrox at the start of the season and Raskin did the same in the cup semi. Raskin got taken off and moments later McGregor scored.

If we play 3 in the middle we need to be brave and the defence needs to move the ball quickly.
Otherwise Celtic will bypass the middle of the park, like Hearts did, and to be blunt - rip us to shreds.

We stay with the formation that we have been winning most games with and that is with a 10 use the 10 to stop McGregor but we still need to play that formation. Going man for man will be a disaster imo and will end up a crazy scoreline like 5-5.

Spot on ehl 3 in the middle has been brutal for us especially the Barron, Raskin, dio combination we just get ran over the top.

Ehl I don't see Celtic with the quality of play to play through a 3 man midfield mate. These games are won in the middle of the park.
Raskin Barron and dio (I'd play Cameron) would totally dominate that middle of the park.

Push McGregor back where he can cause chaos in his own defence as he can do it better than anyone they have other than Ralston, that Irish disaster and of course Trusty. We could get well fried Nancey sacked and that would be disappointing.

Cameron nowhre fit enough, even with a 10min cameo he was stuggling you could see he was trying but not match fit nowhere near.

Ehl that's my concern are our defenders good or brave enough to move the ball forward and quickly or will they revert to this sideways passing also when we get the chance to break our decision making is horrendous.

Stevie, we can only dominate the middle if the game is played there and our defence will need to be brave enough and quick enough to do so - which is the point in was trying to make.
Nancy like to play on a similar fashion to how Hearts set up against us - with two in the middle - and our midfield three didn't get a kick.
