What's your opinion on what your seeing from this squad we have
Can it get better?
Will it get better do you think?
Or do you agree with the majority now these players we have signed just aren't good enough?
And if so where does that leave us trying to move them on come January and summer transfer windows?
How has everyone from board level down managed to get it all so wrong leaving us in the situation we currently find ourselves in?
It's rebuild after rebuild every season and it's not about giving players time I think we and everyone else can see there not what we thought they would be.
How much more money will or can they throw at it over the next 2 windows to try sort the situation out?
What's your overall thoughts on it all.

I know this is for ehl, stig. but my own opinion is the players recruited are unlikely to get any better and therefore are just not at the level we are requiring to compete domestically. I am not expecting DR to work wonders in January as it's notoriously difficult to sign good players in this window. I feel we should cut our losses and see what we can recoup for the players we can sell in January, and wait off till the summer to then allow DR to recruit players he feels will give their all to the team.
Would you say any of our summer signings are good enough. I honestly don't think any (not seen enough of Cameron) and I include Gassama in that. Feel he is just another Matondo.

Thnmm I'm the key word in all of this Stig, and Danny got it spot on yesterday, inconsistency.
It's not about lack of talent in the players per se. It's more about the lack of consistency, which at a club like ours is a big must.
He can't trust a player from one week too ok the next to put in a solid 7 performance at a minimum.

There's nobody in the Falkirk team we'd deem good enough for Rangers yet they can play as a unit. Defend very well. Nearly won it. So I don't totally get these players of our are all sub standard.
They are all basically better players but can't perform as a slick team. I'm baffled.

players we brought in aren't good enough. get rid of the loanees first if we can. getting rid of the rest is the bigger problem but let's not go through wholesale changes, some of them might work if we can get experienced leaders on the park.
biggest problem is we can't bring in until we get rid, can't just keep adding to our squad size. whether we have money or not.
Rohl needs time on this to try get the best out of what he has in the meantime, as EHL said he has had little time on the training ground to unpick RM tactics.
Players playing the safe pass rather than looking forward and planning ahead is their downfall. losing momentum rather than building on it. players running back towards our defence rather than getting to ball played forward kills us. Raskin for example played a ball straight back to defence when there was absolutely no other player near him.

Guys all good replies.
Anyone else wants to jump in feel free. Think we're all baffled from one week to the next by what we witness. Look forward to seeing who fills the void permanently of Thelwell and Stewart.
I can't imagine how much money as whole the club has lost over the best part of 4 years even when you include the money in from transfers out
It has to be astronomical in the grand scheme of things.

EHL said he believed this squad was the most talented we've had for a while so i'm not really sure I will take his opinion on this.
I don't mean that cheeky mate i have just given up with majority of them.
They might be class in training but that's not what matters.

Stig, I think the biggest issue we have at the moment is a significant lack of leadership on the pitch.
Our leadership group still includes Butland, Tav, Dowell and Rothwell - I don't think any should be at the club, let alone in a leadership group.
If those 4 were replaced with a genuine spine of leaders then I believe we'd be a completely different beast and we'd see a lot more from the squad we have.
We have far to many inexperienced players who need a lot of development (physically, tactically and mentally) to be able to succeed at a club like Rangers - and right now we don't have the time to fully invest in them.
I always say to look across the city - Celtic are currently a shadow of the team they were as they've lost Taylor and currently have CCV and Johnston injured - even if the players they drop on are relatively close technically, they don't offer anything in terms of leadership.
I think there's a crazy stat on the number of points Celtic drop when Macgregor is out - and let's face it, Macgregor isn't a particularly special footballer, he's just a born and bread winner.
Even for us last year, Balogun was well beyond his best, but we were always better when he played as he had those leadership qualities that no one else had.

Sunshine, I know the feeling. Hard to believe that Dowell is part of the leadership group. The guy has done next to nothing in a Rangers top.

Ehl has Souttar been removed from leadership group, when did Rothwell join said group.

At the end of the day EHL they will likely win the league again and possibly a treble, I suppose that's all that matters for them at the end of the day, shows how bad we are if you think they are a shadow of the team they were.
We do need leaders and more experience in the team, but also better quality, I don't care if they are 23 or 33 that's what's needed.
I don't believe that a lot of this group just need leaders around them, having watched them over nearly six months now it's plain for me that most are not good enough.
Many talented players out there but takes much more than that to be a good Rangers player.
