I watched some of the game back and uts so apparently we don't get enough bodies into tge box. The 1 time Gassama got past Tierney we had 2 in the box with 1 on outside whilst they had 6 to defend. is that by design or players not showing enough desire?

I said at the game and on here when i came home from the game on sunday OWS, that we need our attacking midfielder/ no.10 or another striker even perhaps to play closer to miovski, as at times he looked isolated with no help but he still worked so hard and ran the channels well ?We need to play closer to miovski and to his strengths, perhaps bajrami just behind him or even 2 up top with chermiti supporting miovski ? I wonder who martin sees as his main no.1 striker, if he has no intention of playing both together as a partnership, time will tell, should be interesting going forward ?.

OWS I've said this for years. Posted about it a few weeks ago.
Cast your mind back to the game last season Vs hearts at Tynecastle. They absolutely battered us but we went up 1-0 through an OG. Think it was a hagi cross.
We had zero players approaching the 6 yard box, 3 at the penalty spot and everyone else was edge of box or outside the box.
I don't know what it is about our players but they don't seem "desperate" to score the goals. Like I remember playing when I was younger and I was not of any serious level but I would burst a gut to get into that box whether I was on the wing or at striker and I would throw myself at everything that came into that box. I collided with keepers, posts, defenders, my own players because I wanted that ball in that net. We don't seem to have that.
Dessers and Danilo notorious for hiding behind defenders and hoping for either the perfect ball or a mistake by the defender.
I know I'm rambling on a bit here but I often watch our players jogging towards the box thinking to myself break your neck to get in there boys. Too many wanting to sit edge and wait for the ball to break. We were always told as youths that the deepest midfielder sat edge of the box and everyone else gets in there.

No way did he hide it was more that most weeks he was asked to win inoissible balls in vs two sonetimes three defenders being the isolated striker
People say football has move on i'd take any of the old 442 teams to beat these teams today.

SWS I know you're a Dessers fanboy and I will admit I was sad to see him go even after giving him dogs abuse.
He wasn't Rangers class in terms of quality but was in terms of mentality and work ethic. But he always wanted to go in behind the defenders and never across the front of him. Danilo does the same. If you watch Danilo in the champs league qualifiers he stops at the penalty spot constantly for cut backs rather than get across his defender.
We never seem to have attackers going front post they always go back post for low crosses.
This isn't an insult to Dessers work ethic or mentality. Using the term hide was purely because he lowers his chances of winning the ball always going behind the defender.
It's a criticism that has been laid at his feet since he came in as has it been with Danilo.
