Yet again Tav makes an appearance from the bench and his first port of call is to jog over to the match-day captain and retrieve his captains Ego Band. This irks me somewhat, in a situation like last night where the team are performing very well with Souttar leading the pack, Tav comes on and takes over the on-field leadership, which could potentially disrupt the team momentum, (Thankfully this did not happen last night).
IMO and moving forward the player who starts as captain should see out the full game as the on field leader, unless he himself is withdrawn during the 90 minutes.

I knew it was going to happen and it does happen with the majority of clubs if captain doesn't start then comes on.
I don't agree with it whoever starts captain should finish as captain of the game unless they come off.
Just my opinion but that is just having a go at him for the sake of it.

He's still the official captain and quite right to get his arm band. until it's taken off him that's the way it is . obviously soapy is VC.

Souttar wants to stay and Martin wants him staying so hopefully the new contract is signed soon, think it will happen after the window shuts.

Ted, I have now informed UEFA and they will be changing the rules as from next season. They will also be insisting that all managers wear a shirt and tie not just on the touchline. they hadn't realised how serious these things were, but plan to rectify their omissions. FGS you couldn't make this up.

I'm in the tav should be dropped corner ATM, but that's a completely normal thing for club captain to do.

Tav is club captain so why wouldn't he take tge arm band?
