Reports coming fast and furious that's igamane deal done and dusted. He's off to Lille. No sign of the fee yet but his old club fet 30% of the profit we make.

All the best to lad and a fantastic bit of business by koppen who I'm afraid will he sadly missed and wasn't fully appreciated by our fans as a whole.

If Diomande goes for 15 that will be nearly 35m for 2 players koppen signed.

I worry thelwell won't be nearly as creative.

Stevie therez a photo on X that's apparently been generated by someone. I'd deal was done I'd think uk outlets would know.

Fantastic business to give up 30% of profit? Really?

30 Jun 2025 22:34:20
You'd think. However there was a rather significant (non football) story they should have run today and not one of them did. Not one of them broke ranks. "Free press".

Koppen will 100% be missed - however he leaves a legacy that I believe gives us an incredible platform to build on.

By the end of the window we will have a squad with a lot of potential.

Says the announcement is imminent.

The report for igamane says 15 million so how is 15 and 15 make 35?

30 Jun 2025 23:20:34
Ehl I'm glad to hear such positivity from someone knows whether we should be or not.

I'm more sceptical than negative just now that's all.

What I'm more worried about is that yes thelwell brings us good players and a winning squad even, but in terms of finding these gems like igamane and Diomande, kasa, cerny even although he wasn't ours. I'm not so sure thelwell will be as successful.

30 Jun 2025 23:47:04
I know there's a lot of negativity around the 30% but let's look at it another way. Give us 30% or you don't get him or you need to pay a much more substantial fee to get him. But with 30% we sell him to you for 1.7m.

So we give them whatever amount and make 10m profit on our purchase once sold or we keep our 1.7 and don't give them 30%. Easy choice really.

Besides the 30% could be bs only one source and it's Moroccan saying it.

Back to your old ways of jumping into all my posts trying to shoot me down I see storm that's a few in a row mate.

The reports were 17/ 18n

I wrote almost because storm, 15+17/ 18 is almost 35 mate ??.

Kaiser, seenany posts saying we should be demanding 30% sell on fee is Igamane goes, wpuld that be poor from Lille, smaller clubs need to get those clauses in as its the best way to make a profit, so if they get a decent kick back and we get a big fee for someone whos had a good six months that's good business all round (as long as we get a big xlayse in there) . Dunno if true but think we mighta just got a few mil from Tillman sale to leverkusen.

01 Jul 2025 06:32:18
We're potentially losing out on 5-7m depending on reports so no I don't think it's great business. Could have doubled their money and we'd still be far better off. We've not csme close to masking any like that from a sell on. Tillman deal was different as it was Bayern backing out of a deal thst made us money. And if anything else will only be a percentage of what Bayern receive so not millions.

01 Jul 2025 07:29:55
Agreeing to 30% is the difference between getting the player or not.

01 Jul 2025 08:25:44
Kaiser so we don't get the lad and we lose the other 70% of the deal (I assume it is 30% of profit as well) . so would that be a good deal for you. they might not have wanted a higher fee. so we lose the 70% we now get because you don't want to agree to a sell on clause which is only a benefit to the selling club if the lad goes for more money.

01 Jul 2025 09:19:16
The same ones moaning about us losing 30 will be the ones demanding we put 20% in all our deals.

01 Jul 2025 09:46:42
Necessary as it may be I'd still hardly call it fantastic business going as high as 30% which is a fair bit different to 20% StevieG not that I'm demanding it from others. Would much rather the higher fee than hope they get sold later as just hasn't worked for us much.
