20mil doesn't rebuild a squad in one window so fees have to be generated and sacrifices made otherwise RM will be accountable (by fans) for a half rebuild and the story starts all over again
Too many players have not shown their calibre or worth which make selling very hard.

Metinho Turgman that's half the proposed budget with CBs and a winger needed also
I would rather have dessers however he's been touted for a fee and Hamza would be next to hopefully do similar get a good season and see where their fees go

Any one actually engaging with this guy in serious terms please re read everything. Mustcatin 4 million is our current budget untill we get investment or sell players ( it's what we can spend due to psr going off of this page ) so he's not far off. That's why we need to sell so we can spend more of our own money.

I think just by the name he is a Celtic supporter but he doesn't say £4M and the half the budget, you do. he is talking about is the £20M which we don't know is for transfers (he says Metinho and Turgeman touted @£5M each) . However due to PSR and our revenue to turnover the allowed spend would be £8M. we got around that in the past by loans then converted into shares but I think that loophole has now been closed.
the cost of the T/ O is irrelevant as that just put cash in the pockets of people who sold their shares. none of that went into the club.

I don't want to lose players like nico and dio I'd rather see higher earners go for some fee to help balance transfers
Dessers for me always gets chances but the fee touted would invest in a younger prospect
Cerny created so many opportunities last season where the others didn't lift their game

Sam that would be correct but from info on here the balance due wouldn't be £4M. The £8M which I quote is also reliant on whether we cut our wage budget until 30 June this year so could be slightly more and whether our turnover went down as well.

Sam. The fee for Cortes is 4 million a million off this one million is add ons, we paid 500k initial loan fee with a further loan fee of one million
So the loan fees are deductible from original fee.
This leaves 1.5 million outstanding, it would not surprise me if we never pay add ins which are primarily around appearance, I can se us selling him if he does not play 30 plus games next season
We r due two payments one of which is July.

Is butland the number one? The example I used were just to highlight where funds could be raised and money saved on free I could have dug a bit deeper into the number of OCC players
We are at a disadvantage Celtic done similar with players like hayes, Christie, cicfti bain molumbo used free transfers or little fees to bulk the squad then added midcard loans like denayer/ Roberts/ boyata albeit not all were profitable but they did only have Aberdeen for competition for a few seasons we don't have the luxury.
