Thank the lord, an absolutely ridiculous decision to bring them in by the club, purely to appease the "staunch brigade" should've given Clement to the end of the season, couldn't have done any worse.

Do you think Clement would have won at Celtic Park? I don't. If we had made the correct decision and got rid of PC early October our season may have been salvageable however we continued to flog a dead horse by persisting with PC and his failures of players.

Cathkin but ferguson even in his very short spell has worse record than PC. Bar the Celtic games we were very poor. Racking up plenty embarrassing defeats.

I'm not saying we should have put Barry incharge in October Paul. I'm saying we should have got rid of PC in October when it was obvious that PC wasn't up to it and neither were half the signings PC and Koppen made. Its been a train wreck with PC and Koppen.

It's impossible to say, but I would guess that PC would have gained more points - that said, from the point in time the takeover became common knowledge, a group of players effectively turned on PC and the club backed the players, so he couldn't continue.

We would have won more with Clement but each draw or defeat would have been received much worse if it was him and atmosphere would be toxic. Given new owners inbound we couldn't make any long term appointment so it was a sensible decision.

Utter pish from alleged Rangers supporters! Barry was given a squad with no self belief and little time to change that. Certainly no opportunity to bring in players to improve the team. Under the Belgian Bam, I seriously doubt we would have finished second in the league, I'm certain we would have lost the game at Parkhead and the fans would have turned on the club even more so than some did. I would like to thank Barry and his staff for answering the call. They gave it their very best. One final thing, I would move heaven and earth to keep Neil McCann at least in a coaching role at the club.

Barry is a club legend but never in a million years a Rangers manager. He leaves with some credibility due to the performances against Celtic but other than that did very little.

Astonishing the way people talk on here. BF had the same players as PC and did worse, fact. Do you honestly believe the players we have would have been first choice by PC, i dont.
PC had his hands tied behind his back.
I do agree PC time was up and it was the fans who made his position untenable, along with the players if EHL is correct. Hence the reasons PC decided to to a reduce pay off to help the club.
Lot of money wasted again as per the last 3 years.
