1st thing the new management team need to put a stop to is this awful celebrating with the fans after beating Dundee away etc. Celebrate when we win stuff. It makes me cringe watching us Celebrate meaningless victories. Could you imagine Gough or Weir celebrating a victory when we were 15 points behind in the league.

Agree2 Disagree0

Quite a miserable life to lead. Should always celebrate victories. Draws on the other hand is a different matter.

16 Apr 2025 08:25:59
Yeah that is top of their list of to dos ?. it is common on the continent to thank the fans, not celebrate, after every game whether they win or lose. watch the Bundesliga and you see it there every week. but as I say it isn't even near the top of any list they will have to sort I imagine.

I get where your coming from, but I promise you if they adopt that mentality we'll be lucky if we win anything.

16 Apr 2025 09:10:55
Looking forward to this new era, where hopefully we can get back to challenging Celtic for silverware.
The points difference between the two sides isn't acceptable.

16 Apr 2025 10:05:30
Every 3pts is valuable to win the league so why not celebrate with the fans?

16 Apr 2025 11:14:48
Have followed Rangers for more than 60 years, and yet I still can't fathom out some fans.

Scenario- your down 2-0 going on 3+ if chances taken by Aberdeen. Fans highlighting lack of passion of players. Down to 10 men. Back in the game at 2-1. The team been humiliated and abused by Aberdeen fans for 90 minutes. Last kick of the ball equaliser.

Why not celebrate!

Maybe curtail a little.

Hopefully we will celebrate on Thursday night.

16 Apr 2025 11:25:44
Is that not the norm in other leagues such as the Bundesliga to acknowledge and celebrate with the fans?

16 Apr 2025 12:05:17
Oh come on, we are playing against Dundee 15 points behind. What's to celebrate?

16 Apr 2025 12:15:25
Fans and players as one. Celebrate wins together every time.

16 Apr 2025 12:28:06
Was Aberdeen and losing 2-0 at half time with ten men then scoring at the death but you don't want to celebrate that Herewego ?.

16 Apr 2025 12:46:24
In both the Dundee and Aberdeen games we have scored very late to come from 2 down to gain the points, in the second game with only 10 men. The players themselves would be on a high after this so why shouldn't they go and celebrate and thank the fans who have stuck with them in these away games .
When they just walk off the get criticised for that too . There are a lot of clubs in various leagues who have built their rapport with their fans by going to them en masse at the end of the games and celebrating together.

16 Apr 2025 12:54:08
I'm 99% sure that won't be high on our new managers agenda.

16 Apr 2025 13:35:11
I'd personally want to celebrate winning trophies not celebrating going 15 points behind. Its pathetic imo.

16 Apr 2025 13:51:48
I've read some nonsense on here recently but this must be the worst.

16 Apr 2025 13:53:44
What I'm seeing as pathetic is players not celebrating victories and especially with travelling supporters Herewego.

16 Apr 2025 14:15:13
Sorry but sounds idiotic you want playera celebrating and enjoying victories so they want that feeling every game.

16 Apr 2025 14:57:43
During my many years as a coach I encouraged every player, whether under 12s or pro youth, to celebrate every goal scored - even if we were winning 20-0 - and every victory. The reasons are many, but mainly it instils a feelgood element, a desire not to lose and to keep fighting, a camaraderie amongst players, and it has the added benefit of demoralising the opposition. Of course players should celebrate, or at least thank, the fans. Negativity like that espoused by herewego/ coldo is depressingly insane. Have joy in winning!

16 Apr 2025 15:23:12
Here we go,

No meaningless victories. Playing Dundee away, where as home team still playing 10 men behind ba, a victory a well won game and players deserve celebrate they see fit.

16 Apr 2025 17:28:39
I knew that I would agree with Hugh Keevins once and today was the day. He reckons we should play Igamane tomorrow night instead of Dessers and I think he's right. We might not see Igamane again too many times and he is an exceptional footballer. If we are going to go out, and we might be, give the best players a chance to shine in the biggest game of the season.

16 Apr 2025 18:09:47
Would rather the players come over to the fans and throw some money rolls, £500 a time, each player, double if we get beat, could see a vastly improved performance if that was happening.
