Good point Stevie. Serious question, do you think Tav is more of a Legend than the likes of Laudrup and Gazza?
Going by your points then he would be? And tbf you would find it hard to argue otherwise. Laudrup and Gazza were phenomenal players and won trophies for us but they weren’t here for very long. And Laudrup especially, was awful in his final year, trying to stay injury free for his move to Chelsea.

Typical new generation of Rangers fans. Tavernier wouldn't have got in our team 15 years ago let alone a legend of the club.

The current status of the club and the players form over the last season or two has hurt Tav's "legacy" but Tav is still a legend for our club.
If Tav had left a season or 2 ago we'd like remember him differently.

he might not of got in our team 16 years ago, you will be hard pushed to have a player now or in the near future to get in any past rangers teams. you can't keep living in the past, that indeed was what nearly destroyed rangers, the spending and costs of these legends in the last 30 years wasnt sustainable and the results of that are what we are enduring now.
so what is the measure of a legend then as the bar seems to change depending on who wants to argue for or against.
