Adam cruizier Duberry loan with obligation to buy for £10m is what it will take to get him.
Gassama asking price £12m with sell on clause is Rangers asking price and €10m from Salzburg only concrete bid with Monaco also keeping tabs on situation.

Rangers hoping to keep if they can get Duberry on straight loan with no obligation.
If Gassama is sold Duberry will be his replacement albeit on opposite side out wide he has played both

French window is closed, is it not? So Monaco would be out the running if that's the case.

We should move on in all seriousness, too much money for a League 1 player so far & we haven't exactly been selling players for over £15 million to make much of a profit. I'd rather keep Gassama tbh.

01 Sep 2026 00:34:59
French window shuts on the 1st 8pm.

01 Sep 2026 00:49:53
I've read in a few places, Brighton only want to loan him out, they don't want to sell unless they get silly money.

01 Sep 2026 02:53:11
They want about £12m, I think, and I think we went as high as 8-9m. Looks like he's signing a new contract now.

01 Sep 2026 05:04:12
Mugs if we pay it. Viera Arsenal Portugal international 7.7 and we are looking to pay more for a guy with not much top level experience.

01 Sep 2026 05:48:54
Weneedahero, it's the wages that are massively different though.

01 Sep 2026 07:17:27
Monaco are in real financial trouble and need to generate in the region of 150 million euros before the window closes.

01 Sep 2026 07:34:51
We should be trying for Tawanda Maswanhise. Knows our league and scores goals.

01 Sep 2026 08:04:04
McRorie knows our league, but isn't good enough, knowing the league is well below the attribute required to be good enough for Rangers.

01 Sep 2026 08:05:27
Maswanhise is vastly overrated within our support in my opinion.

Boys barely kicked his own arse since January.

01 Sep 2026 08:19:42
No way we should be paying that for Duberry, not a chance. Over inflated English market, leave well alone and move on.

01 Sep 2026 08:40:30
EHL, that's a lot of cash to raise by window closing, so no way they are coming back in for Gassama.

01 Sep 2026 08:57:56
If that's correct on Monaco, maybe explains why they haven't completed the deal for Fares Ghedjemis - maybe we should go back for him if we can get Gassama away - he looked a player.

Found this on AS Monaco.

While the football club is not in immediate danger of collapse, it is navigating a highly restrictive financial environment.

France's football financial watchdog, the DNCG, has imposed strict wage bill controls on the club for the 2026/2027 campaign. Monaco must clear any new contracts with the regulator to ensure they fit under a hard, predetermined payroll cap.

Monaco's fiscal tightrope is exacerbated by a league-wide TV rights revenue drop across Ligue 1. The club has needed aggressive player trading to balance the books. In the final hours of the August 2026 transfer window, they structured a major EUR50 million deal to sell striker Folarin Balogun to Everton to maintain compliance and inject immediate liquidity.

Majority owner Dmitry Rybolovlev (who holds a 66.67% stake) initiated a process via The Raine Group to explore a total or partial sale of the football club. While Prince Albert II indicated the sale process was temporarily put on ice, unsolicited investor interest remains active.

AS Monaco FC is operating under a total projected club budget of EUR125 million for the 2026/2027 season, heavily restricted by the strict financial guardrails of French football's financial watchdog, the DNCG.

Gassama won't be going to Monaco.

Very likely he now remains.
Chance of Aasgaard going.

Wouldn't get hopes up on anyone else after Kelsy. Being priced out of a right winger still.

Midfield being neglected again is just criminal. Hell mend us.

01 Sep 2026 09:21:57
WTS your spot on. We will sign Kelsey and that will be it imo. For how long it takes us to get deals done, we will not get anyone else in. Really hope we keep Raskin now, cause if he goes without anyone in, our midfield is nowhere near it.

01 Sep 2026 09:38:17
Raskin staying is probably for the best for us now.

We wouldn't have a replacement lined up.

01 Sep 2026 09:52:25
Agreed, his age has probably gone against him getting a big money move.

Sky Sports reporting Cozier-Duberry signing a new contract and going on loan to someone in the Championship.
