Heard a rumour yesterday and it wasn't the first time I'd heard the name being mentioned, as I thought back in June it was a load of s***, but with Raskin expected to move, has anyone else heard that Villa are prepared to pay ÂŖ12m + add-ons and Tyrone Mings coming in part exchange?
As I say, I rubbished the rumour originally but now with us looking for a left footed CB with experience, could it be a goer?

Club will only bring in a cb this window (on loan) once the other priority areas are sorted.
Left winger imminent as we know.
Striker ongoing.
Right sided winger also remains a live possibility.
Would be a more experience player given the rest in that area are pretty young. Club are more than aware of the narrative around us having too many projects, they understand there's a need for genuine experience asap.

I honestly think Tyrone Mings would be a terrific signing for us and a left-footed centre half, which we haven't got, but alas just can't see it happening as wages would be way too high for us unfortunately. âšī¸

I'm not sure what they're doing, Stevie, however from what I can gather there is a lot of very talented youngsters coming through in Romania and it's a league that Bloom has prioritised - think Brighton have signed a couple of players already.

For me we bring a quality Striker (on loan) until Chermiti returns. Why he wasn't sold for 22m is another matter. It's happened, but a ST will be on loan.
CB is an area we must recruit quality and experience.
Like we are thinking about going, fast players out wide. It's much needed.
Out of every position we need, the CB position is absolutely vital imo!
