Personally, if a player wants a move and it's a club record fee, I think player should be wrapped up til that deal is concluded one way or the other.

It's not to suit the player. 😂
It's to safeguard the club's potential fee when it's so high, they normally wish to safeguard that by testing the player tik deal is complete.
Why should Rangers be any different from the elite clubs in the world who do that?

I'm not sure who first posted online the player isn't keen on moving. I did see that, but it's not accurate at all. Kevin is actually really keen on the move, and his club are open to selling at the right price, obviously.
