When Dio can be arsed he can be a great asset but he's just never been that consistent. Thought he had a decent spell under dr for a while last season. He's still young enough to improve, but if he really wanted to play out of his skin, we'd have seen it by now. Still think he's got more to offer than Chukuwani though.

Losing a creative player who chips in with odd goal - where is creativity coming from in mid then - will we just rely on Aasgaard? It's only good if we replace with better imho. 🤔

Blue-Floyd3, he has 10 goals and 14 assists in 121 games, it's hardly great stats for a creative midfielder, especially in our league.

For me Dio is not the standard that we require to progress. Him along with many others need to go.

Devlin looked good as a Hearts player. Get to Rangers, they start walking with a swagger ax if they made it.

Folks, EHL gave his thoughts on Devlin. I agree. I believe Devlin was signed to replace Barron. Barron isn't creative, Devlin isn't, and Dio isn't creative. Believe it or not, Curtis would be more creative in the middle.

I'm loving the rumours of outgoings as desperately needed. I would sell anyone in midfield right now, take the money, reduce the number of midfielders we have, and use the funds to bring in creative midfielders to achieve a better balance. I don't think there is one Rangers player that I wouldn't get rid of right now- the only problem is the same recruitment team would be signing the replacements!
Dio at times has been brilliant, but unfortunately those times have been few and far between.
As for Aasgaard, he doesn't fit us - he would rip it up in another league where we would get more time. He would also do well on a team with a solid defence!

Fight back on Dio is crazy. We will mostly play with 2 CMs this season. Dio does not break the lines with his passing. He always favours drifting out wide.
Yes, he has qualities, pretty robust: good engine, can press, but we hardly see this side from him unless it's in the Old Firm, and ok recovery wise.
Good CM on the left side of a three, not good when he's been shoehorned into a double pivot.
Just because he's created our goals this season doesn't mean we should keep him around when he's been part of a midfield who's failed for 2 seasons.

The lad is rotten, sure he made a pass to the guy that crossed the ball for an OG but how many straws you wanting to grasp at.
Get him out the club asap, i don't care about profit, the fact some other daft team want him is a blessing

I think Diomande got one goal last season (maybe two). Chukwuani got more in half a season and certainly Raskin and Aasgaard got a good few more. He's not a goal threat, this season, yes he did play a nice ball for Rommens' assist in Poland, but that's it, don't see him having any part in goals at Tannadice or yesterday.
He is one of the players who are too inconsistent and it's time for him (and others) to go.
