Has Andy Halliday on SSB just dropped a possible itk clanger? Stating Nico Raskin isn't at the Club when giving his run down of Friday night. Maybe I'm reading into his comments too deeply.

Raskin was listed in the Europa League squad. The only clanger there's going to be is when we don't sell him and we've signed about another 4 in his position.

Surely to God we wouldn't have signed all these midfielders if we didn't know that Raskin was definitely getting sold to another club. 😲 Surely there was major assurances, otherwise is poor poor business. 🤔

Blue, keeping Raskin would only ever be a clanger if we don't sign him on a new contract. If we get him playing and extend his contract I'd be delighted. Our midfield is miles better with Raskin in it.

We can't keep him and extend his contract because that would mean upping his wages, which then would make it even harder to shift him on (during a time when there is no WC because that's the be all and end of sales after all, according to some).

We have stated how much we want for him, with a few clubs interested but not put bid in as far as I've been told. Don't think he will start, but be daft not to have him in squad. As for signing all the midfielders, most wanted us to spend more before getting money in and would rather have three miss we have brought in fighting for places than not have brought anyone in or this forum would have been toxic.
