Mikey Moore has told Spurs if he isn't in the plans his preferred destination is Rangers despite reported interest from Dortmund et al.
He will be given pre season to stake a claim but it's widely accepted he will be loaned out again and both player and club were happy with his development at Rangers.
I'd say there's a 75% chance he comes back on loan and could be a loan to buy if we raise enough money from player sales.
The £20m valuation is wide of the mark and Spurs would likely sell for just over half of that with a sell on AND buy back clause.

Think that money is better spent on Moore over Ferguson, if we are to spend such a high fee, but I'd still rather buy two players for £10 million each over blowing it on one player.
If we get Moore back I'd prefer it to be a 2 year loan & we get more out of him.

If we are using loans, it should be for more senior players like the style of Godfrey, and buying in younger players.
If Spurs want 10-15m for him, and a buy back clause in case he smashes, then fine, but double the amount we paid.
Not about paying big loan fees to develop other teams' players for them.

I'd happily pay £15m for Moore. Buy back would be £25m, probably. U don't normally get double in those deals.
Thing is, it's a lot for us, so I'd go for a loan with obligation.
I want Fergie and Dahl.
Dragojevic, a centre back, Mikey Moore, and a rw.
If we sell Sterling, a rb. And I'd bring in Fraser if we can't get Penrice.

We all love Moore, that's not up for debate, really. He's a great lad.
Will he get us enough numbers in goals and assists? Great ball carrier, but numbers-wise he's probably not worth the loan outlay and wages if you're after end product.
We need someone supplying two strikers with quality deliveries.
Is that Moore? I want him, but is it because I like the lad? I'm not sure.

Fact is, many on here want Moore back, but does Derek even want him? That's the real question.

I'd pay £17 million for Moore before Ferguson all day, every day. In a better Rangers team under McInnes he'd get 15-20 goals and 15-20 assists, imo, and we'd make money on him. That's exactly what I'd pay big money for, someone who will give me 30 plus goal contributions who will improve year on year. Opinions will vary though and that's fine.

Mikey Moore laying down the law to the Spurs hierarchy.

With reference to the first post here, that's more or less what I was told a few weeks back, but it's not expected to happen until late in the window. It's a deal we should definitely be going for, and is well within our reach!

Coully - the lad is developing. I expect he will come on leaps and bounds over the next 1, 2, 3 years. Look at Tillman when he was with us versus second season at PSV. Mikey Moore has a very high ceiling imo.

Iron, when you think with your head and not your heart, that's a better investment. I agree, the thing with Fergy, u just want him there being captain as it's meant to be. ?

I'm not fussed about Ferguson either way, Wishy. I'd be happy if he signed. I won't be bothered if he doesn't. I don't think he's as good as many think. I'm not saying he's poor or whatever word folk want to use, but I wouldn't pay the money they're looking for. Nothing he does stands out to me.
He does the basics very well, but we've all got differing opinions on him. 1 thing I've always tried to do is look at Rangers without blue tinted glasses on. I always think long term rather than short term fix. His name and family history with the club doesn't come into my thinking.

Not a chance are we giving a club 15 million then if he's good selling him back for 25million that's just nuts. ? Buy back should be at least £45million. What if he's ? and not as good over the next 2 seasons and we have forked out 15 million for a chance to get 25 million back, makes no sense.
Also look at Cortes, a know it's a bit different but there is still risk, if there is a buy back it should be 3x what we pay, still f*** all to Spurs.

Hearts sayin Devlin not signing with them.

Rfc buy backs don't work like that.
The fee is always low. Look at Madrid with Paz.
If u don't like the deal, don't take it. Basically you're getting the player for a few years, and u get your money back plus a profit. What's not to like.
