Kyziridis would be the first Hearts player I'd go for. Good age and only valued at a few million. Always been impressed with him.

Sooo, the manager himself said yesterday that we are not targeting or even discussing in regards to any Hearts players (and yes, did mention that are under contract although personally I hope we don't go for Devlin as would much rather Ferguson and Neil to come in). But a few randoms are saying otherwise? Think I'll just believe the manager on this one.

What's to say we can't have Ferguson, Neil and Devlin? Especially when two are free transfers.
Raskin and Dio could well be gone this window, and our midfield needs a serious rebuild with competition.

I'd be happy with Ferguson, Neil, Barron and Chukwuani as our options for the two in midfield. If we had all 4 of them, I don't feel we'd need Devlin.

Reports in press today saying 4 of the top Greek clubs want to take him back with Hearts looking for up to £3.4M.
Gassama scored more goals with Kyziridis getting more assists. I think he will drive on this season, and McInnes likes wingers. Don't see Hearts selling us players unless we pay stupid cash.

The players aren't training today as such. It's testing today, McInnes said himself, it will be testing tomorrow in his interview with RTV yesterday.

Correct, DJB. Gassama looked like a player just after signing. Hopefully he shows us that constantly next season. Many players are better the following season, they know what they're up against in our league now, and some take more time for settling. Why Aasgaard, Gassama or Antman wouldn't be going anywhere for me, unless for fees we can't turn down.

Yes, he did, Polar Bear, but that was obviously because he was irked by Ewan Cameron's stupid questions and was making the point that we will sign whoever we want from whomever we want (which he was correct to do). However, I still believe McInnes was being truthful when he stated we weren't looking at anyone under contract at Hearts.

Could there be a clause in his contract that he can't sign Hearts players for x amount of time. I know I had this clause in a lot of contracts I signed to stop me pinching clients if I left. Don't know if such a thing exists in football mind.

The way Hearts have negotiated contracts, Angus, I really doubt they've put a clause he can't sign anyone from them. Bloom has never done this with any Brighton managers, so fully believe if McInnes wants any Hearts players then he will go for them with the backing of our club.
Also, apparently Bloom didn't even like McInnes as he didn't buy into the Jamestown analysis fully; he was already appointed before Bloom invested.
