Sportsboom on X reporting Rangers are readying a 3-5m bid for Ryan Alebiosu from Blackburn. Previous went on loan to St Mirren and Killie from Arsenal U21's.

Boy looks like a unit and by all accounts he's lighting quick. If we're signing two RBs, I'd like one of them to be Ross Mcrorie.

Players with Nigerian allegiances have done quite well for Rangers of late. Fernandez, Bassey, Aribo, Balogun, Dessers. Hopefully Alebiosu can follow the same trend should he sign.

So AyrshireMurphy, that's 2 right backs we've now got bids in for. ? We've already bid for Westerlo's American right back Bryan Reynolds and now reports stating we're about to bid for Blackburn Rovers right back Ryan Alebiosu. ? If we do sign these 2, then we can safely say it looks very much like Dujon Sterling is on his way out of Rangers and we won't be signing Hampus Skoglund, Ross Mccrorie or Nathan Patterson.
? Talking about Westerlo right back Bryan Reynolds, we seem to have a very good relationship built with Westerlo, which is obviously down to Issame Charai being their head coach. ? I can't remember who posted this the other day, but someone posted Charai would be a very good choice to be Rangers head coach in the future. ? What's our thoughts? ?

Out of all the RBs we've been linked with, Alebiosu looks the most promising, solid and lightning quick with a decent cross in him also. Hopefully the interest is true and we can get him signed up.

Was myself, SWS, that said I was intrigued by him as a potential future manager. Not seen enough to say I'd want it. Just one I'm keeping an eye on after his success with Morocco U21s, and I think he had a good first season with Westerlo.

From what I have heard, we are still looking at signing Ross Mccrorie even if we get 2 RB in, as he is seen as a player that can cover multiple positions, including RB, CB and CDM.

So hypothetically speaking here, guys, if we did sign both right backs Bryan Reynolds and Ryan Alebiosu, who would likely be our first choice right back between the two. ?

We will be speaking to multiple players for each position, I would imagine. Doesn't mean we will get them both.
I do think we should be signing two right backs, however. One starter then maybe a younger for backup.

My star, I've only seen Alebiosu a few times tbh and he's rapid and athletic. ? I really don't know much at all about Reynolds but he's obviously got something, and what you can read about him, not to mention Roma did sign him. ?

Sterling should be sold, can't keep fit, he has a good game against Celtic, then goes out on the lash and crashes his car, tells me a fair bit about his attitude. He will get a decent gig in the Championship.

Bee 82 is spot on. We may have multiple interests at RB, and so we should. Doesn't mean that, because we have apparent bids in for 2, that we won't sign any of the others.
We may only sign 1 of the 2 we are in for as our 1st choice, then a different market or group of players for the back up.
We would be mad to just go all out for 1 and end up missing out on another.

Fifty, we've agreed in principle with Bryan Reynolds, with personal terms going by reports, and it's the fee we're negotiating with Westerlo that there's currently no agreement on yet, so it's clear he is our main right back option, and other reports that we're also wanting to sign Blackburn Rovers right back Ryan Alebiosu ? Quite clearly, if these 2 sign, then we won't be signing Skoglund or any other right back for that matter.

We need a squad with 2 right backs, 2 left backs and 4 centre backs. If Sterling stays as cover for all these positions, so be it, but unless he has a full season of being more available, then he can't be seen as first choice.
