There was an informal conversation with Steven Gerard a couple weeks ago via an intermediary.
Read into that what u will, but would suggest there was already underlying concerns or rumours surfacing around Danny Rohl.

Danny has the full board's backing and will still be the Head Coach next season, and plans are already well advanced for signings. I suspect there will be an interview with the Chairman soon after the Falkirk game to acknowledge the mistakes made this season and confirm their support for Danny.
As always, and with any Rangers manager or player, if a club from a bigger league comes in and makes an offer that all parties are happy with, then things can change.

Firstly, I think Rohl will remain, but I'd now also want Derek McInnes, if anything changed regarding Danny Rohl. ? As I've previously said, my preferred choice would be Kevin Muscat, but I believe that ship has sailed, so after deep thought it would be Derek McInnes for me also. ? I think he's exactly what we'd need at this moment in time. ? ??

McInnes might be unlikely, especially if Hearts win the league. If he turned us down when at Aberdeen, why would he accept now after the season Hearts have had? Gerrard will likely go to Burnley. Muscat has been on many fans wish list for a while, depends if he would fancy it, but I can't see Rohl going unless he gets an offer from bk home & we get comp out of it.
Personally I'd be keen to see what he could do with his own squad, but I can understand why so many are wanting him away too.

Walter, I'm not having a pop here and you could be right, Rohl might be staying.
But this end of season is unforgivable in the eyes of the fans.
It looks like he's completely lost the dressing room, and surely by now the board are asking questions of him.
In my eyes I don't see how he can stay on as manager with all this.
But as I said, I could be wrong and you could be right, my friend.
