Is any one ITK hearing that there is several players in the dressing room causing problems like late for training etc and making it a split dressing room

That wouldn't surprise me, some of them stroll about like billy big balls.

Would explain a lot! One thing we aren't is a team who fight for each other, apart from Mikey Moore, an 18yr old loanee. The first one to go and back Rommens up on Sunday, while the rest couldn't be a***d. Definitely a team lacking unity.

If this is true, we must be the only club who have same problems year after year.
As it seems, we have a split dressing room every season.

I thought a couple of months ago that the entire team celebrated our goals in a very united enthusiastic manner, to the extent that the ref was having to wait a good long time to restart the game.
From the split there does not seem to have been that same united group outpouring of joy.
I wonder if splits have emerged between different cliques when they were away at the training camp before the split.
Just observing the interactions between the players, there seems to be a lack of cohesion now and team spirit.
I am not sure Rohl is the man to generate that team spirit in the way Shankly, Busby, Symon, Souness, Smith could.

A figurehead appointment would not be long sorting that out, respect from players is a must, even a bit of fear and awe gets that extra inch in games, not had it since Gerrard and it's showed when things get tough.

Take them all out for a pi$$ up and team bonding session like Richard Gough and his squad used to.
Russell Martin tried it with their Loch Lomond day out, which did nothing, because you don't get the truth from team mates when stone cold sober.
A team that drinks together, wins together. ??

Don't know if this is the case tbh. Personally, I think the players look like they are going through the motions, and Rohl does not have the minerals to drive his boot up their arses. Honestly, I believe there are some very decent players in the squad as they have shown on occasion this season. I really think they have lost their way and have no leader to take them by the scruff, the way O'Neill has done at Celtic.
I'll tell you now, I am in no doubt that A Walter Smith or even a Stevie G would have skated the league this season with the same players.
Rohl is the main problem, imo, and if we mean to let him carry on in the job, his cards have to be marked. Personally, I just can't see how he can succeed, but would be over the moon if he did.

Take them to Loch Lomond for a swim.

This is what you get when you bring in loan players. We should bring through our own young players or buy players. Loan players changing every year will not help restore the Rangers identity, and, in my view, that has been a big part of the problem over the last few years. We need players who are committed to the shirt.

Pretty sure there was a dressing room split early in the season when the Senior Leadership of Tav, Butland, Souttar & Dowell sided with Martin over Raskin.

Split dressing room every season, same captaincy? Any coincidence?
12 May 2026 15:30:47
Split dressing room. Players doing what they want. These things get said every 6 months.
12 May 2026 15:32:37
Would luv to have seen them try that with a big Jock Wallace, they would still be picking their teeth up off the floor.
12 May 2026 15:41:06
Not enough Rangers minded players in the squad that care.
12 May 2026 16:36:25
Mr Ph. No love lost among several of our players.

Coopersdad, I tend to agree with your point of view that, to be a successful manager the players need to know who the boss is.
All the great managers made sure of that.
I'd stick with DR for at least the full upcoming season, and if there's no great improvement, I then think his jaicket would on the proverbial, shoogly nail.
Hopefully, we will see a major improvement, then we could be quite confident that DR would see out his contract.
If (God forbid) that doesn't transpire, we would likely pull the pin.
If the unthinkable did happen, I agree that Alex Neil would be a great shout for our next manager - just check out his managerial career.
I had a good laugh when he was at Hamilton, and, as it was their game of the season, and it was getting late on in the game, he let rip with words to the effect "Do you c***'s think you're already lying on the beach?" followed by many more expletives - what a guy.

I don't think we could accept a Celtic man managing the club. There were links to Marco Rose, and people didn't want him just because he praised Celtic.
12 May 2026 22:20:08
Rose and Terzic were linked, think they're going one to Bournemouth and one to Bilbao, read it but can't mind who's going where. ?
{Ed001's Note - Rose to Bournemouth and Terzic to Bilbao.}

Come on, guys. 20 to 30 men in squad, there are always going to be divides.
Do you like everyone in your workplace? Prob most would say no.
No big deal.
