@Aphelion, a friend of mine back in Berlin tells me there is talk of Hertha being interested in Danny Rohl for next season is this a roumer you have picked up on?
11 Apr 2026 21:10:42
Ted, I believe there is no chance of that, my friend.
Hertha will not be promoted this year.
11 Apr 2026 21:26:31
Teds, Rohl only sees his children four times a year for the last few years. That must be hard going. I don't think I could do that, be missing them growing up. Do get what he's saying about only going to the same school, but that must be so hard for him.
11 Apr 2026 23:28:28
Agreed, My star, you could not blame him if he left for that reason.

There's not a chance in hell Danny's leaving this summer.

I think Danny Rohl will remain our head coach for at least his contract, and possibly beyond, obviously depending on results. ? Like the majority, I've really taken to Rohl and think a lot of him. ? I truly believe he could build a dominant Rangers for the years ahead. ? It must be difficult for him regarding not seeing a lot of his wife and kids, and that's why eventually I feel he will go back to Germany and become the manager of a German club.
? I don't think anyone could blame him because that's a big sacrifice to make being away from your family. ?

I hope he is our manager for the next few years. Hopefully, we can win the league this year.

I suspect he'll be on the radar of a good few clubs.
Have mentioned before, but he's also being watched with interest by Crystal Palace.

Big rebuild in the summer. Djiga, Meghoma, Moore all gone, and possibly Raskin also. Rohl saying he misses his kids and wife, which is of course normal, so don't be surprised if we again are looking for a new boss for next season. Always worried when a manager doesn't move his family with him, also a bit worried about the timing of this.
Get the job done first and then say this at the end of the season. Our timing is always wrong with these things, and, in my opinion, gets the punters back up. If you are not all in, why take the job in the first place.
12 Apr 2026 09:31:13
McGregor, I really don't get your point, if he wasn't all in, he wouldn't be apart from his family, and it won't be a big rebuild either.
12 Apr 2026 09:42:04
If you watch the interview you will see two things.
First, Rohl didn't raise the point, he simply answered the questions that were asked of him.
Second, he certainly wasn't complaining about it; in fact, he was pretty light hearted and humorous about it.
Like always, I thought he came across really well and, more importantly, really relaxed.

Big rebuild every summer. There will be more than that leave. Suspect one of Chermiti and Miovski move on as we need to bring in a proper goalscorer. Tav will also be away, Rangers will be tempted by decent money offers for Fernandez. Think Dio will also move on.
12 Apr 2026 11:03:03
Usual outlook on here. Wanting players away, managers away.
How depressing.
12 Apr 2026 11:38:13
Gdog, players move on, it's a natural thing and progression. Rangers need to become a good selling club. Can't afford to let players leave on a free. Selling players at their peak is what we need to be doing. Tav almost certain to be done also come end of season.
12 Apr 2026 11:55:26
If we win league, we want to build on it, Paul. If we sell Raskin and Dio, we definitely don't need to sell other first team players like Chermiti and Manny, who have only been here a year and values going to increase.
When you have a player trading model, and a succesful one, u don't want to sell everyone at the same time, as it will be detrimental to the team, as you're constantly having to bed in 7/8 starters every summer.
12 Apr 2026 11:57:21
He should bring in a really strong assistant and let him do a lot of the after match pressers, etc., and then he could maybe get home a bit more often after games. That's what Gerrard used to do.
12 Apr 2026 14:33:40
Rohl will leave for the same reason Gerrard left, or Ange and Rodgers left Celtic. There are better leagues offering massive money to these guys which they can't refuse. The better Rohl does, the quicker one of these clubs will move for him. We need to just enjoy him while we can.

Lissah, that we should be all over for rb.
