Reading West ham looking to sign the boy linked to us ftom Tromso Dahl?
09 Apr 2026 18:42:02
He will have a few suitors.
09 Apr 2026 18:46:05
Saw that too, but hopefully the prospect of them going down to the Championship will act as a deterrent.
09 Apr 2026 19:36:41
Started the season on fire. May take him out with our pull.
09 Apr 2026 19:39:04
Any club still in the EPL next season want a player we're after, then we're not getting him. Simple as that.
09 Apr 2026 20:37:52
We can't compete with the top half Championship teams. Plenty of players to choose from, we'll win some and lose some, but no doubt at all we'll be stronger.
10 Apr 2026 12:27:57
With what has happened with Cameron and Curtis, what young player would want to come to us?
10 Apr 2026 12:49:35
Trevor, I agree we have not got a great track record with young players, but don't think you can include Curtis in that. He's had loads of chances this year, and now on a loan to develop. You throw him in and play every game, and he has a few bad games, he gets eaten alive and loses all his confidence.
See Leon King. A loan next season to Hibs/sheep maybe, and hopefully comes back ready to play, still only 19/20.
10 Apr 2026 13:36:39
Wishy, I'm sure King's contract expires in May, free to go.
10 Apr 2026 15:17:03
Can only imagine Dundee will get what they want for the boy Graham with Gers prepared
To pay north of 3 mill.
The boy Cameron, his off-field antics have cost him his place.
Curtis to be used as a part payment for just from Motherwell, again good business for Well.
They know they will get their asking price and should be too rich for other mob unless they use the boy Welch.
10 Apr 2026 15:37:30
Curtis shouldn't be used as part of anything for just from Motherwell, Teddy.
10 Apr 2026 16:09:14
£3m dor Graham is too much. I'd say he's £1.5 rising £2.5 max and 20% sell on! 3m for a Dundee centre half is too high imo.
10 Apr 2026 17:31:19
Sorry John, I was meaning Curtis loan next year. I was more using King as an example of a young boy that didn't recover after being thrown in at the deep end in a difficult season.
10 Apr 2026 18:14:01
Doesn't matter if West Ham are relegated, the pull of big wages and playing in that stadium is going to appeal to any young lad, but whether he goes there or comes to us, he isn't a first pick in the slightest.
Young players don't have it easy, as they sign for clubs, then the manager is fired or leaves, and they get sent into the endless loan cycle.
10 Apr 2026 20:48:01
West Ham have players worth £50m + they'll sell 3/4 players, sign a few, like maybe Fernandez from us for!15m, and maybe lose Bowen too, btw, but they'll bounce right back up.
One of the best youth teams down south for years.
I bet on 23 in EPL 2, and they're always winning. They're a good youth team.
I sometimes bet on.
11 Apr 2026 12:10:38
Fernandez is Not being allowed to move for 15m.
Rangers board believe he will be our biggest ever sale by some distance.
Bayern interest is very real, despite reports they are prepared to match valuation.
11 Apr 2026 14:26:34
Good to know, Gdog.
11 Apr 2026 14:28:19
No no, John, according to folk here the deal was done. ooft ha ha. Repeat what others have said, deal never done until signed and sealed. We, of all clubs, should know that.
Well us and Celtic lol.
11 Apr 2026 17:15:57
We were talking to him, now saying his price is 15 million, out our range if that's the case.
