I actually liked the Castore tops and kits. This season's Umbro one not so much tbh.
Rabbi, it doesn't really matter about the size of Nike, it's about the deal. Adidas are a bigger brand than Castore, and make the Aberdeen kit.
Just for looks, I would prefer Adidas, but any of the bigger brands would hopefully open the merch up to a wider audience.
I would be surprised if any of the current deals are being ripped up though - would cost millions.

Would love Nike to be our kit supplier, but just can't see us spending millions to buy out these agreements that were only signed towards the end of last season, which I assume AC would have been privy to as they went through the buying process.
We've wasted so much money on this type of thing before through court settlements, etc. Don't know if this is a possibility or not, and will wait and see what happens.

I was told this information ages ago, and most of you laughed at it, rightly so, but it's what I was told. Will it happen? Don't know - but we can only wait and see. I'd love Red Bull to be our sponsors, being a tattoo artist I drink the stuff constantly to keep up with work demand. ?
