Heard today that Moore will be back next season and he will be bringing James Wilson with him for a season long loan.

Would be very happy to get Moore back.
Wilson, as in the young ex Hearts lad, would be ok as a back up as I can see Miovski being moved on.

Don't see any point in bringing Wilson in on loan as we won't play him.

Would love Moore to stay for another season! Unfortunately, it's all going to depend on whether Spurs stay up or not. If they go down, then they'll be selling most of their top earners (forward players), leaving room for Moore to go back. He'd be a first team player in the Championship, surely. Regarding Wilson, he's exceeded all expectations moving from the under 21s to the full team in recent weeks.
He's been on the bench the last 2 matches, but he is on loan with an option to buy from Hearts, so again I expect it'll be down to where Spurs are playing their football next season. If he goes back to Hearts, then it'll be a no go for us.

I don't think any of us knows one way or another if Mikey Moore will be back with us next season mate. ? Absolutely nothing decided there. ?

You mean Wilson that's on loan with a purchase option? Why would we do that? A lad who wasn't getting a game for Hearts and wouldn't get game time for us.
Would love Moore back but only on a permanent deal, but he would be a fortune so I don't see it.

Hard to say what happens re Wilson, however, as I keep saying, excellent player, miles better than any of our young academy strikers.

I would prefer Barney Stewart over him, John.
23 Mar 2026 19:42:18
Wilson isn't a Spurs player to loan out. He's still a Hearts player.
23 Mar 2026 20:48:57
Wilson, in my opinion, is rubbish.
24 Mar 2026 09:08:22
Braga going to Rangers, Barney Stewart going to Hearts. ?
24 Mar 2026 14:01:00
Rangers will not play 7 million plus to a Scottish club, Walter.
24 Mar 2026 17:15:48
John, why not? If the player is worth it, then why not? Being totally honest, I'd gladly pay what a player is worth to a Scottish club rather than abroad when possible. Keep money in the league, improve the product, and in turn we get better too.
