Calvin Ramsay from Liverpool Could this be a possibility and also Scottish✌️✌️.

He's garbage.
19 Mar 2026 08:38:37
Thought he was struggling down there?

Only positive is he is Scottish.
Unfortunately would not improve our right back options.

Was rumoured in the January transfer window. He has had unsuccessful loan periods whilst at Liverpool, and I think he has had various injuries. He has appeared on the bench a few times recently for Liverpool, but I'm not sure if he's actually played during this time.
I haven't seen him play since leaving Aberdeen, so I don't know his quality. I think a few on here seemed to rate him when I put this up in January.

The boy done well to get his move, but seems to have faded away a bit tbh.

He's far from garbage, and those coming out with that are talking the garbage. This lad is hugely talented, but, like many others, damaged his career by taking the big money move when it was dangled in front of him. If there is truth in this, I would welcome it, but I just do not see it.

He couldn't get in a team for a relegation fighting Kilmarnock.
His current manager has spoken publicly about how bad he is.
Hard, hard pass.

I'm not sure how many of our players would be a regular on the bench for Liverpool.
19 Mar 2026 12:20:54
Seems to have been a bit injury prone since he joined Liverpool. I would rather bring Nathan Patterson back if we wanted a Scottish right back, but again, he has had injury problems too, so he would need to be able to prove his fitness before I would pursue it.

Here is the only quote I have found from his current manager. Not exactly a glowing endorsement, but certainly not saying he is bad.
"He has shown in that one game against Palace and when he trained with us that he is good enough to be in and around our players, then sometimes you have to wait for a chance to show this to the rest of the world, but at this moment I have - in my opinion - still better options."

Just been discussing this with people who seem to be in the know, and they were talking about Max Johnston being a possibility for right back. I am not claiming this as my rumour, just a name that has been mentioned in discussion.

No thanks, single fish.

I'd rather Rangers spent money on an actual solid RB like Max Johnson.

Is Dujon getting lonely in the treatment room or something?
19 Mar 2026 22:24:13
We should have, at the time, taken 5 million from the Paterson money and bought him. He was a cracking prospect at the time.
