My mate messaged me the other day saying the ticket renewal would be delayed due to an announcement that would get fans excited etc.

I didn't take much notice tbh.

Has anybody heard anything?

Only posting as I've seen it has now been delayed.

Gmw, A few things in pipeline that hopefully fans will like.

18 Mar 2026 15:14:12
Correct, John, although I would urge caution.

There can sometimes be a what's next attitude to things.

Our club is going places with Andrew in control.

I hear there is to be a salary paid to all of the positive posters on Rangers Rumours or is that just wishful thinking. ?

18 Mar 2026 15:57:36
I will accept the dividends, Angus. ?

18 Mar 2026 16:07:36
Email out before you posted, saying put back a week.

18 Mar 2026 16:31:34
I am aware of plans, but as I said a few months back, this will take time; however, it is exciting.

18 Mar 2026 17:02:27
Fife, yeah, that's why I posted, because I didn't think much of what he said until I saw the email earlier.

Hopefully more positive stuff like the guys have said.

Is a disbanding of the Union Bear cave in motion?

18 Mar 2026 17:24:30
Ted got that message today. It would be an admission of guilt if done so soon.

18 Mar 2026 17:27:11
Get back on to your mate. People huv tae know.

18 Mar 2026 17:28:57
Here's hoping GMW.

18 Mar 2026 18:32:58
Aphe, I would be happy with that, but just remember I am a preferential shareholder here. ?

18 Mar 2026 18:57:53
The delay is due to the proposed increase not being warmly received by fans' groups.

Basically, you can't be charging EPL-style
% increases for a substandard product.

Further meetings will be happening.

Great to see you posting info again, John.

18 Mar 2026 23:56:54
John, WATP & Aphe, could you give some hints to the kind of things that might happen?

As I feel like some of us need a little pick up due to recent results.

Frustratedbear1 - I can't tell you much, but what I would say is, apart from on the pitch, it's an exciting time to be a Rangers fan.

I have seen some plans, but the latest I heard was this was for the 2027/28 season.

I was at Cameron House, and was told that fan entertainment, pre-match, and the surrounding area was a priority.

I have said in a few posts, the short term is fixing certain things, as it's common knowledge parts of Ibrox are lacking TLC.

I believe a review of the stadium, also from a capacity point of view, is well underway.

Hope that helps. For anyone reading, I know stuff about Rangers; sometimes I hear the full story, sometimes snippets.

Special shout out to the boys from Dumfries / Murray. Solid work carried out.

Watp, I wrote about ten days ago I'd seen drawings re corners filled in, screens moved to stands above goals. Not seen a post here, u picking up anything? This is why the old shop was not converted to a bar, as required for one of the entrances, and would realise a 7k increase in capacity.

19 Mar 2026 18:04:57
John fans are not going to games this season, due to the play on offer, although less so under DR, but I still think if we upped the capacity nearer 55/60k, those tickets would be sold.
