Sounds like it'll most likely only be 1 in tomorrow. Club had hoped for 2/3 but it seems like pre contracted players won't be allowed to leave their clubs early.
Again this could change tomorrow if opportunities arise or circumstances change.
Personal opinion is that I thought we would replace Rothwell with a contributing midfielder when his move down south is confirmed. Current state of play suggests we won't see an incoming for that position.

Don't know how reliable 'Give Me Sport' is but reported on there that Tonda Eckert (Southampton manager) has confirmed Rangers have held talks in the last few days. Celtic were the first to show interest at the start of the month along with Preston, Norwich, Wolves and ourselves.

Been saying this for ages. We badly need a guy who will chip in with 10-15 and set up similar.
Not sure exactly why Cameron wasn't fancied (probably due to size), but he's exactly what we need. Someone who will break lines and set up and score some goals. Not had that player since Arfield.

Tillman got 18 goals as a CAM if I remember rightly. Yet, people didn't want him signed saying he was lazy and wasn't worth £5m. We could have had a front three of Sima, Igamane, and Cerny, with Tillman behind. We have had players that are good enough come threw the door, we just keep failing to sign them permanently, or we end up letting them go to soon.
Dessers scored 25 goals a season - Yet we let him go for about the same money we paid for him. Madness.

Rohl with the cheese your spot in folk moaned about Tillmans work ethic even tho it wasn't true his style looked lazy but he covered as much grass as anyone the stats showed it! He was a special player exactly what we need the forward line you mention win us this league IMO, Skov will come good Gass is very hot and cold was sad to see Curtis go as he's fearless at running at defenders hate watching wingers chop back every chance they get!

Think this is bull because if they were precontract players we would still sign and announce them but wait to next season.
I still don't think our club prepares for transfer windows properly they only seem to start talking to players and clubs January when most of groundwork should be done long before.

Stuarty, a poacher is exactly what we need mate. Someone who's first instinct is to get himself in the box. People go on about Dessers, he scored 18 and 16 in his two league seasons which we didn't win the league. We are needing someone who can score 30 a season, also I doubt Dessers would be scoring as freely as folk think with the lack of chances we are creating for strikers.

We had 29 touches in the box yesterday. Does anyone remember one of those touches being one which a poacher, or anyone, could finish? I can't. The ball doesn't bounce around in the box for us, so no scrambles which would benefit that player.
For the first time in recent games, our delivery at set pieces was poor, and our general crossing didn't beat the first man. Poachers need ammo, same as every striker.

John i always like your posts and info but i don't agree great window 3 in yes lb injured olson looks miles off it in the 2 games involved in and the midfielder who puts himself about wins ball breaks things up but won't create dictate games or score goals imo type players we need in midfield
as for players out they won't be missed except Curtis who runs at folk commits defenders loves a shot and an eye for goal.

imo we are lacking creativity and goals from all areas middle too front we are far too slow and constantly build up in tight areas middle park towards their box which end up giving it away or hitting a brick wall
our wingers hardly go by fullbacks usually cut back in an poor cross
yes the service is poor but even if was better Chermiti an bojan don't look the answer.
