Don't shoot the messenger. Been told that we have made a tentative approach to Harry Maguire from Manchester United. Not sure on the veracity of this, but passing on a rumour I have been told.

That won't be true.

Trueblue, Harry McGuire instantly becomes easily the best cb in Scotland.
But no chance does that happen.

Can't see it happening as if he leave Man Ut he will have much bigger offers than us. He's a far better player than given credit for in recent years.

1. He's just back in the team
2. He would cost about 50m
3. He would stroll it in Scotland so true blue what are u on about
4.someone is winding you up big time lol?.

imo he is vastly over-rated. Much better options out there and can't imagine that we could afford him anyway.
By the sounds of it we have Souttar signed back up and have a new OOC CB ready to be announced for the summer. Only thing holding this up is that we may try to bring in now if we reduce the size of the squad. (just what I've read/heard)
I guess that a striker is our priority at the moment and any opportunities that crop up in the next couple of days.

I hate slab head so that is reason I don't want him.
Also know one knows what he would become if he came up here at all.
29 Jan 2026 12:53:01
The man Mark Goldbridge calls "slab head" LOL.

Maguire would be sensational in the SPL. Unfortunately there is no chance if him coming here (in my opinion).

Harry Maguire is so underrated.
He's made out to be a laughing stock at United for some reason but he'd walk into every other team in the EPL.
