3m offer for Ryan naderi from hands Rostock according to sky germany, could tie in with Danilo going on loan. Although going for a German 3rd decision striker seems an odd choice.
26 Jan 2026 16:40:49
Not odd whatsoever the talent in Germany is outstanding.
26 Jan 2026 16:43:15
I'd imagine this is a Rohl pick.
26 Jan 2026 16:44:14
German 3rd division is the same level as the spl. Been to watch a good few hansa Rostock and 1860 Munich games in the past although never seen this boy but I asked a mate of mine who works in football in Germany and he has nothing but praise for the boy he came through the mongaldback academy so he must have something.
26 Jan 2026 16:49:47
In what sense is it odd? I'm sure the scouts have all the data and if the data says he's good and the club have spoken to him and he wants the move then I see no issue from it.
Is it odd when Brighton sign a player from the second division of Korea?
26 Jan 2026 16:55:07
He could be a Gem we just have to look at claudio Bragga at Hearts he was found in division 1 in Norway so was not playing top level football.
26 Jan 2026 17:22:10
Braga for Hearts was probably seen as an odd choice as was Igamane from Morocco. Plenty of gems out there that we can make a lot of money on. I like the fact that this window has been a mixture of experience and potential for to long we have only went for potential.
26 Jan 2026 17:26:30
I get his point though I'm sure we could sign the very best player in German 2nd division so going for a player in 3rd tier is a bit of a surprise.
Worked out well for Ivan Toney and to a lesser extent Fernandez for us.
Apparently a shining star in the Dresden youth set up but didn't translate his form to Gladbach and failed to play a single game.
I like the fact he was prepared to drop down 2 divisions to ensure he played and got career on track.
8 goals and 6 assists in 15 appearances is a good return at any level and is rated as good in the air which is something neither of our current front 3 really have.
€3m is £2.6m so worth a punt.
26 Jan 2026 17:30:42
The thing with this boy (if we get him) is he doesn't need rushed to the first team just now.
The team are winning and getting better week on week.
Hopefully he's a bit better in the air than Chemtri and therefore offer something different.
I doubt the SPL is much better than the German 3rd division.
26 Jan 2026 17:41:21
As long as they put the ball in the net more frequently than the current 3, who cares where they come from or who they play for. Also, recruitment model from Röhl is excellent. Size, athleticism, ability. They don't come cheap and are hard to find.
26 Jan 2026 17:55:45
A actually like the fact he's playing lower level football a personally feel a lot of players that come through the youth ranks are over coached and are to refined for our more physical league. Hopefully this lad has retained some street football habits.
Also with the fact he had to drop down to establish himself he will be absolutely determined not to fail so hopefully he's a forward with real desire and determination to succeed. All in all its great to see us diving into a different market.
26 Jan 2026 18:00:11
Vardy…Leicester? Not odd in the slightest. 2.6m for an English league 1 player, not that odd either.
There's nothing odd about it apart from those that expect us to be signing EPL level CF's. Clearly don't understand business models or sustainability.
26 Jan 2026 18:03:26
Barron Bear there is free German football on YouTube mate. Watch it … Most of it is not Bundesliga 1. The talent is night and day compared to what we produce. Have a look and make your own mind up.
26 Jan 2026 18:11:16
Lets not forget we paid 8million for Youssef Chermiti who play 22 games for Everton and never scored once.
26 Jan 2026 18:24:05
Should check out his highlights reel! His all-round play looks class! His finishing especially ?. I know YouTube can make any player look decent but I genuinely wish I hadn't checked him out now, will be disappointed if the move doesn't materialise.
26 Jan 2026 18:47:18
If we sign this boy I'll get right behind him as I do every player, but I would like someone more proven in the door. Cheeky bid for dessers? ?.
26 Jan 2026 18:52:45
I would pay the extra £1million and get the boy from Motherwell.
26 Jan 2026 18:58:15
3 million would be the fourth highest fee for that division.
26 Jan 2026 19:14:34
Ryan Naderi scored 10 goals in 52 appearance for Borussia Mönchengladbach II between 2022-2024 which is not a bad return for the German league before moving to Hansa Rostock where he has score 13 goals in 42 appearances between 2024 to this day.
26 Jan 2026 19:41:19
We need to identify good players early before other teams get in.
26 Jan 2026 20:02:31
the thing is we are looking for players who fit our team and the way Rohl and the club want to play. so he may be the best example of this as a development player we have managed to scout. unfortunately Haaland has said he is happy at Man City.
26 Jan 2026 20:08:12
We're going to get him too TF2.
26 Jan 2026 22:15:45
Fifty 6 don't talk rubbish.
The highest valued player in 2.Bundesliga is linked with a move to Bayern München for over €20 million.
Rangers will never pay that and certainly will never be fighting with Bayern München to sign a player.
26 Jan 2026 22:46:48
Kenny Miller was wete before moving to spl.
Im a little concerned at fee but doesn't mean he won't be good just because division three.
26 Jan 2026 23:02:09
Ibrozstorm he didn't play a single match in Budesliga for Gladbach he only played for their reserves and 3rd teams.
This season he has started 62% of games only averaging 60 minutes per game yet has 8 goals and 5 assists in 17 appearances.
He scores volleys, headers, inside 6 years box outside the box every type of finish he seeks to have them all.
HE is the final piece of the jigsaw for me. Red Bull Liepzig also interested let's land him before it's too late.
26 Jan 2026 23:43:47
I think it's Salzburg mate. Not Liepzig.
27 Jan 2026 07:02:34
SoO - me too mate. I'm a follower of German football and got a soft spot for Hansa and the obvious Hamburg who I believe are two "friendship" clubs, Hansa being Hamburg's equivalent to our Linfield friendship. Don't be fooled by the "third tier" patter.
There's a few teams in that Bundesliga 3 that would make top 6 with ease in our league, Hansa being the main one imo. These are markets we should be in, it's 100% where the young talent go, is Germany.
27 Jan 2026 07:43:08
Fifty fkn6 i did not say he played for Borussia Mönchengladbach i said he played for Borussia Mönchengladbach II which is there reserve team. But the reserve team play in a good leave of football.
27 Jan 2026 12:57:40
Young, Tall and clearly a rising talent in german football, from what i've seen, he will score in our league no bother, get the deal done, he is levels above division 3, and worth every euro of the 3 mill.
27 Jan 2026 12:58:27
Regardless of what teams he has played for, soon he will be playing at Ibrox for Rangers ;)
27 Jan 2026 14:08:43
Koppen had Igamane on his list for a while before coming to Rangers, he was ranked in the top 10 under 23 strikers in the world when we picked him up for the silly money we payed thanks to Koppen, Charai was his development coach hence him coming over shortly after to us also.
Originally he was a signing target for PSV when Koppen was still there as head of recruitment as was Jefte.
as he moved to us prior to making offers and securing both, we got the benefit and profits of both, Igamane would have slotted in nicely at PSV he suits their system and quality very well, top side in Holland for a few season now, Ajax just can't take them out just now, they are that good, thanks to a lot of Koppens work from head of youth recruitment through to the senior recruitment position at PSV, we were very silly to let him go, his record both in Belgium and Holland is fantastic to say the least, we pushed him out just as he was getting into his stride and got nowhere near the time he needed to turn Rangers into Scotlands dominant team for many years to come., even now we have not replaced him with anyone of remotely the same ilk or quality.
Unfortuanately Hamza is now out with a long term injury - Cruciate ligament tear so he won;t be back to best for a year or 2, shame as he was rising quickly, he is out for the next 12 months minimum.
