Joshua barrie on twitter saying the appointing of a new manager is not dependant on the takeover being completed first.

I believe there will be funding put in place from the new owners for the new season whether the takeover has went through or not.
It's absolutely definitely happening so it's just a formality now
They'll have a cut of date where they will decide to announce the manager if the takeover hasn't went through by the at date they'll announce it anyway.
As for funding they'll have a plan in place to make the same funds available whether things have went though or not and they'll pick it up at the other end.

Didn't think it would be tbh. If Dave king is saying take over won't be completed till mid June there's no way we can wait that long to get a new manager in, especially as we already have a SD in.

I posted the other day, but this may have been lost on the backlog with the site being down.
Club would prefer to announce the Head Coach after the confirmation of new ownership - which is close.
However, will announce the Head Coach first if they need to - as they're keen to avoid news getting out before the club confirm it.

I don't think we will hear until the end of the season for a few reasons.
1. Out of respect for the interim management team in place until the end of the season.
2. Announcing the "manager" now instead of end of the season makes no difference, he still won't start until after this season has concluded, his first opportunity to work with the players will be pre season.
3. This will be a head coach appoitment rather than a manager, recruitment of players etc is already underway and being taken care of.
4. We may be impatient as fans (myself included) but there is no real urgency other than having the new appointment in place for the players returning for pre season.

Correct treble and the other thing is there is no guarantee that our transfer funds will increase by new owners putting money in as they can't break FFP although revenue could be increased quickly. I think fans expect a war chest to be created and I just don't see that without player sales.

Me neither Angus I think they will be a lot of unhappy fans come end of the window but I hope am wrong.

Storm I think they will. My only addition to that though is I may have read that the 51% will be made up from shares bought from existing shareholders but there was also something about a rights issue. they wouldn't be sure of that until they knew how much they needed to spend next season. I still don't think it would be that war chest but may release further funds.

Was it not said on here the new head coach won't take the job until takeover is complete?

If the new owners can't find a way of investing some money into that team we are in for another season of hurt, new manager or not. Selling off our main assets to pay for changes, unless its for funny money, will just make things worse not better.

Wsl think it will be all about sustainability, high earning out of contract players leaving, out on loan players who have done well get moved on reduce wage bill, cash in on assets who's stock is high and reinvest in targets who have potential.
I think Raskin, igamane and dio will all be away in the summer, others could also be moved on like Dessers and yilmaz. Reinvest the money back into squad whilst injecting some of their own money into transfers and commercial interests to increase revenue.
That's what they done at Leeds…sold 5 top assets for over 100m and reinvested 30/ 40m into playing squad. The key being with the money spent they got a few gems who will make them money. This mob are very shrewd when it comes to business and their model works.
We might not see instant success or millions spent but they will revamp our whole youth and scouting structure to find diamonds in the rough and good deals. Then when we are operating properly, the right money gets spent on the right deals. That's my take on it anyway, but i might just be talking single fish. ?.
