Saw on another webpage that people were having a go at Dan Neil, funny how people see it differently. I thought Dan did very well yesterday he turned his man on numerous occasions and linked the play keeping it ticking over. On other points we must play the 2 up front, we can see now how Naderi likes to play going slightly wide just before winning the ball and looking for big Kelsey.
Is this the biggest strongest team we have had in years, apart from the 2 guys in midfield size wide we have height and strength all over the park even Godfrey is some size of a guy.

The treatment of Dan Neil even before the Old Firm games is disappointing imo.

Imo it was merited as even the manager was not playing him, or subbing him at half times.
It's all about opinions, the greatest bonus is we still have Raskin.

His passing was very poor yesterday, but his positional discipline was very good.

I thought Neil was outstanding in the first half when some of his passing was brilliant , he is great at taking the ball under pressure and easing into space, he got caught out once but that's just what happens sometimes. He didn't hide after last weeks error and took the pass out from the keeper just like he has been doing.
I did think he tired in the second half but maybe he was one of the guys who have been ill . I think he was rightly subbed although like a few of the subs it was a weird replacement by the manager. After yesterdays subs, questions could be asked about both Serbian boys with players being used out of position before playing them.

I would have Dragojevic in ahead of Neil. I think Drago is maybe the better player from what I've seen og him at he's old club.

Stevie how many times did you watch Partizan? 😂 there's a reason McInnes is not playing Drago and maybe it's he's not as good as you think or definitely not as good as "yet". Players are playing and winning and doing it comfortably and your pining for players you have barely saw mate. Pandur, Gassama now Neil.

Completely agree BT, we are miles better when we play our version of 442 and you can see how it suits both our strikers. Our first 3 goals were a strikers instinct goal and what I mean by that is that only a striker would have been in those postions. Had we played one striker with 3 midfielders, I don't think we score either of the first 3 goals as no one else except our two strikers would have been in those goal scoring positions. You really can see the benefits of playing two up top.
Last week we played with one up top and we were unable to dominate in the final third because the ball wouldn't stick up top. Yesterday we played with two up top and our strikers we able to run channels and link up. We were able to dominate in the final third and get Sterling and Penrice to overlap and get in behind, last week we couldn't do that.
We have a winning system, let's stick with it. There is no need to change it.
On your point about Dan Neil. He was fine yesterday. Very poor weather conditions, we win 4-0 and dominate. What else do people want?

I actually think Neil is very average tbh, but what he is very good at is complimenting others due to his postioning. You can put him in there with anyone and they will play well.
Whereas it was very obvious that Raskin and Devlin couldn't play together.

Dan Neil has had many more bad performances than good ones, So using my in fairness fact calculator, it's saying he is still an underperforming player for us and must improve and be more consistent . The facts never lie.

Wishy I've not got anything against Pandur I think he's a decent keeper but I don't think he's as solid a shot stopper as I'd like.
He's not as good as most fans are making out is all I said.
Gassama I don't like as a player.
Neil , wasn't long ago u and everyone else wanted rid of him while I said he was a very good player. Go check my keywords I spoke highly of Neil since before we signed him all the way through.
I prefer Drago and what he offers than Neil. That's my personal preference I'm not against Dan Neil.
Also I don't watch partizan maye u think u know that. But I went away and watched a fair bit of him when we signed him and for me he's a better player than Neil.

I wouldn't expect to see much of Drago until after the November international break.

He's only 20 anyway he's got a long contract and the teams winning so McInnes is right to ease him in gently.

Pandur is a fantastic signing
Neil is good and may even get better
Drago could be good, then again he hasn't been seen basically since play 45 mins and giving a penalty away.
There's professionals in the game who know players and Drago may be being worked on, but he's obviously still not at the levels of Raskin and Neil, and not chuckwuani either.
Gassama is going to be a very good player, I've no doubt whatever about that, his pace and power on the ball almost turned Celtic defender inside out, he is becoming a very potent force, and will obviously only get better.
I'm very very happy with how this squad is building and I'm happy with the pecking order too , Drago might make it here, he might not, but he's got a chance, if he buckles down and works, he is obviously not quite at the right level at this stage, how anyone can say Pandur isn't a good shot stopping keeper i'll never know.

I like Neil, I've no concerns with how he's started and I expect him to continue to get better each week.

Comparing performances in a Rangers jersey, Neil has by far out performed Dragojevic and deserves to be in the team.
I am intrigued by the fact that McInnes chose to move Penrice into midfield and use Chukwuani again rather than put Dragojevic on yesterday AND put Godfrey on at right back before Nedeljkovic .I'm not buying that they needed minutes argument because they all did.
McInnes implied at his presser that he was not impressed by one or two of the players in the friendly against Dundee and I am wondering whether it was these two he was talking about . Only they two , Curtis and Kelly played in that friendly and didn't get on.

Once again Tom that's not what I said.
I did not say Pandur is not a good shot stopping keeper, as u have just said.
U constantly change my words about to suit whatever you're trying to make out.
Stick to the exacts of what I say tik if u want to have a debate with me please.

Wsl I never seen that presser mate or that part of it, a sounds like u may well be into something though.
What I seen him say was that Godfrey deserves minutes cause he's absolutely smashing it in training every single day.
Perhaos Drago and Kosta aren't doing it in training and that's the reason, I do recall a few lads saying though that Drago is in an individual training course with a coach to make him play a certain way in mf.
That could explain him.
Kosta though is a wee bit surprising getting now.
Be interesting to see who's played what minutes come the final whistle next weekend.

Stevie that's fair enough but that was with Partizan and not with us so how can you say with confidence with the very little you have seen of him that he's a better option than Neil who's been a main stay over a 9 game unbeaten run. There's a reason Drago isn't getting in ahead of him.
He's not ready he's only 20 and his time will come.
Pandur has been an excellent signing and deserves every bit of praise he's getting.
Gassama is frustrating, but he's still contributing a lot to the team.
