Gassama โ was he as bad last night as some make out?
4 shots, 1 on target, 1 blocked.
85% accurate passes in the opposition half.
40% accurate crosses.
100% long ball accuracy.
10 โ lost possession.
50% dribble success.
7 progressive carries, total distance 94m.
50% ground duels won.
And what about our new winger Bouanani?
1 shot, 1 on target.
86% accurate passes in the opposition half.
38% accurate crosses.
67% long ball accuracy.
16 โ lost possession.
50% dribble success.
5 progressive carries, total distance 68m.
44% ground duels won.
I personally think both are an asset to the team the way we now set up.

Not sure what people expect from him. Think he's the Tav replacement for the moans and groans. Thought he played well. If he can improve his final ball/cross decisions, then he'll be some player.

I don't think he was bad. Caused them
problems all through our first half. Just needs to work on his shooting. If his finishing was a lot more polished he wouldn't be at Rangers.

I thought he had a really good game, though he does often miss better options.
Occasionally seems too focused on cutting in and getting clogged in the middle when releasing Penrice on the overlap is the better option, but overall think we are heading in right direction.

Mrph - Bouanani looks quality and has the football brain to look up and pick the right ball (so far) - only wish Gassama had half the football intelligence and could also look up before final ball and make good decisions in final third as that's where his football is constantly being let down - Miovski showing that he is the most natural fit finisher at the club and his goals could be crucial, assuming he is not for the offski! Naderi is a trier imo, but lacks composure in front of goal and is not the answer to our goal scoring needs - I feel another long season ahead folks.

I thought he played really well and caused them problems all night. If you watch Penrice when he overlaps (or underlaps) then only once did he react in frustration when he didn't get the ball, so he must be making these runs to create the space for Gassama to do what he is doing. Tie that in with the manager starting him and not taking him off early and this is what he is expected to do.
With Naderi, better composure will come when he gets a few goals and settles down. He is getting into the positions but just isn't clicking 100% yet. He must be a nightmare to play against as he gives you no time.

Gassama was good last night, love what he's bringing, so dangerous.

Gassama's shooting was appalling as it is in every game, he needs to be out practicing every chance he gets. It will give him something worthwhile to do, midweek, between games.

Did we not just play in midweek and the same last week.
