Not fussed.
Obviously, manager doesn't fancy him.
And squad needs trimmed.

He wasn't getting played, so if I was him I'd have wanted away as well.
Hopefully the lad gets a chance to show himself and gets a nice move out of it, always gave his all for us.

Got to agree, Mph, I really don't see the Barron appeal.
Sure he runs about and likes a good finger point, but that's about it, his passing range is average and his shooting is below his passing range ability.
The only thing I am disappointed in is that it is a loan and not a transfer to get a fee.
Barron is currently suffering from "the more he doesn't play, the better he seems to be".

Mph, I have had a look at the club website and the squad has a list of 29 players (confirmed on Transfermrkt) including Barron, who has just left on loan, and Chermiti, Souttar and McCausland. It may be missing players, but I can't think of any, so I am not 100% sure we do need to trim the squad at all.
Might have been good to replace a few, but 28 isn't a big squad to go with (27 as Chermiti is out for season probably).

Think Barron could become a Scotland regular in future, but no euro games and possibly just playing with two mids in some games, so might turn out a good loan. We haven't had many.
