I wouldn't start Shankland either. I'd play Miovski if he's eligible. Need to play Drago at Lb and play Aasguard in MF.

Went for Curtis at lb, as not many options, and would like to think him and Gassama would cause problems down that wing. I think the manager will go with Sterling at lb and McCrorie at rb.

3412. I'd play McCrorie in the middle of the park, the way Lundstrum used to operate, plus he's got a bit of height at set pieces, both for and against.

McCrorie was tried in the midfield in the past. His decision-making is shocking. He tries 40-yard passes, long-range shots at goal, etc. Unless he's got significantly better since the last time he was here, and it doesn't seem like that's the case, he should be nowhere near that midfield.

McCrorie can't hit a 40 yard pass, nor can he score from distance. But he tries constantly, and to the detriment of the entire team. I thought he would be able to do a job as CDM if he just kept it simple, but he couldn't.
He had to try Hollywood passes and lose possession. He had to try a shot from long range that went miles wide. The guy had absolutely no clue how to play in that position.

Then cup game at weekend surely give DM a wee bit breathing space.
If DM is having little say on who we sign, then you can imagine we will be looking for a new manager soon.
