What do you guys think of going for Braga to link up with Shankland. They had a great partnership last season at hearts, could they pick up where they left off. And I know it will be said he tailed off near season end, but we had a full team who did the same thing.
Hearts would play hard ball yes, but think it would be well worth the outlay if they clicked quickly again.

Same as Miloski was ok at Aberdeen and did nothing since. Bragg not worth that & doubt Hearts will get anything like that.

I wouldn't pay 8 million for Braga. I'd just spend 8 million on a striker with a different profile from Shankland. We lack pace through the middle. I've always thought Shankland would be a good 2nd/3rd choice striker, a bit like wee Billy Dodds.
Get you 15-20 with appearances of the bench and maybe starting 15-20. He's not a starting no9 for me. Many will disagree, and that's fine, but not for me.

Really got to manage our expectations, Duntocher. If we end up less than 12 points behind Celtic we should be happy. The direction we're moving in, with or with paying £8m for Braga, is not a title winning path. We might have a better chance of competing in 12/18 months with some stability and continuity, but we don't appear to be doing that as of yet.

Not worth the money and we could have Vini Jr and Mbappe up front. If the ball doesn't get to them, they won't score. It's the creativity and build up that is the main issue.

Dado, we don't look like we're going down any path at the moment, we look rudderless.
I don't for one minute believe any Rangers fan would be happy to finish 12 points adrift of them.
But I see where you're coming from, but again patience and willing to give DM time is just something that doesn't exist in our fan base.

Duntocher, that wasn't specifically aimed at you, but there are many on here who say we go sign Braga, Maswanhise, Watt etc after one good year playing for teams where the pressure isn't to win every week, and also willing to pay the crazy fees I see banded about.

Yeah rudderless is a better way of putting it, mate, we're not trying to have a mare but the lack of planning and direction is pushing us to a dead in the water type situation. It's heartbreaking.

£16m spent alone for 2 project forwards needs investigating, even refusing £22m for Chermiti should've been took with a major % took for a selling on clause. Totally bad management for the recruitment team, and a major miss from who agrees our dealings to sell.
