I see the knives are already out for McInnes. A couple on here, and more elsewhere, have already decided he needs to go. I see the question of If he's Martin in disguise getting banded about. And the Scooby Doo one of them pulling off the McInness mask to reveal Martin under it. Too much, especially only 2 games in.

Farcical behaviour, man.
Give the guy a chance.

McInnes needs time, sunshine. It's our recruitment that once again has been dreadful this summer.

McInnes has been involved in the recruitment, he wanted Godfrey and McCrorie, and then he bangs on about not being happy with the transfer window. Bye bye McInnes.

McInnes knew what he was getting into - he said so himself when he was announced as the new manager that he knew the fans' expectations and that managers at Rangers were judged on success.
He was also hailed as the messiah by many that craved no more outsiders and the role should go to a SPFL, Rangers-minded etc manager who gets the club.
So why shouldn't his start be questioned - just like previous incumbents have been.
We aren't any of the other clubs in Scotland out with Celtic.
One trophy in a blue moon isn't enough.
We are Rangers who demand trophies, success, etc.
It's why we have been successful more seasons than not.
Some fans are forgetting that, and would rather make excuses.
When standards fall, after a while, apathy sets in.

I didn't want him, and I don't think he will be successful, but he needs a fair crack at the whip. The recruitment is the main problem right at this min. It's all good having reported bids for wingers, but you need to get them over the line.

After finishing third last year, I can't see things getting worse and us ending up 4th (nothing would surprise me). On that basis, I think he'll get the season regardless. If the fans don't like it, they can stay at home.
I'm really frustrated with the lack of preparation, which is where the bulk of my comments stem from. If I was to play devil's advocate, I guess McInnes has prepared the best he can. We signed 8 or so, lost 13+ depending how you count our loaded out players from last year. I'm not sure how much more preparation he could have done. We have players still looking for a move, still know the club are looking to sign new players. Curtis, Shankland and Raskin all late back due to the World Cup.
All things indicate to a poor transfer window, i.e. I think we've signed okay players to boost our squad, but are still lacking quality to improve us.
If that happens at all, it's likely to be the end of the window when these type of players don't get picked up by better teams than us.
It's the same farce from every other season, and in my opinion, the only way it'll improve is through stability. Without that, it's the same consistent cycle.
Let's not hide from the fact that we continue to go lower down the manager ladder with each appointment. We are not appointing better than we currently have. Last season a rookie manager from the Championship was not better than a manager who won promotion to the Premier League. Flip flopp Martin's CV was not better than PC. Now we have an SPL level manager, what's next? The Scottish Championship? David Martindale? Dick Campbell?
Give him the season, then access if we're stronger or weaker than today.

Fans need to give DM time to do his job. We are two games into the season. Keep the heed.

MPH, we've not been successful for 15 years.
Who is going to come on if we sack McInness? He's been in charge 2 games.
Teams need time to gel, and that can't be done on the training ground.
They need a period of games together.
The short term approach of constantly sacking managers won't work. The next guy in will get the same. Half a dozen games and calling for his head.

It will get to the stage who will want to manage Rangers, especially reading some ludicrous posts after only two competitive games into the season.
Don't post often now, but see you later in the season.
