Apologies in advance if I'm being thick. This is a genuine question. Nico is in our Euro squad; are we hoping to push his supposed transfer along IE it happens before Thursday and his new team don't want any cup tie or representing 2 clubs in same tournament isdues. Or would we include him in our starting line up as he's one of our best players and gives us the best chance of progressing to the next round.
The latter option obviously carries huge risk in that he might get injured and therefore scupper any transfer. Which in turn restricts any potential new recruits. What are your thoughts?

I believe nobody is interested in him at that price. Watch for the loan with an option on the last day of the window while we do the same with somebody else.

Ehl, John - what are your thoughts? I know someone mentioned his transfer has already been agreed, but if he plays and gets injured, then surely that scuppers things.

Raskin should be nowhere near the 11 on Thursday, if nothing else, based on his absolute lack of commitment pre World Cup. Anyone realistically thinks he's going to play at more than 50%?

I think the rumours on here of Raskin deal being agreed have been firmly put to bed. World Cup is long finished and we're into August with our season and others around Europe already started. If a deal was agreed he would be gone. The fact he's in the Euro squad and guys like Souttar are not further cements that point.
