See, it's comments like that. 😂😂 You have absolutely no clue if he's more talented than Nakamura, who was close to 100 international caps for Japan. This guy has none. You jumped in and lumped Rothwell as the best midfielder in Scotland last yr, as well over McGregor, who had won consistently for 13 years here.
How about you give him 3/4 months to see how talented he is? You rightly, Walter, ask for players to be given time before they're judged if anyone says anything negative, but you over hype a lot without seeing much of the player. You should know better.

At the end of the day no one actually knows how Yokota will perform. Pluses are he has played in Europe for a few seasons already, is a good age where he has the chance to kick on (and possibly be worth more). Derek Rae, who covers Bundesliga, is generally positive, and he knows more about that league than most of us!
Stats are simply that and never tell the whole story.
He is going to be our player, not on loan, keen to come and deserves nothing less than 100% support.

He was only valued by his own club at EUR2m and the only other interested in him was Paderborn. He's nowhere near Nakamura class. These sorts of comparisons don't do players any favours, just make folk put him down. Same with the Moore ones, who people wanted based on potential not on stats.
